I think this is the thick vocal and instrument Motown "wall of sound" of the 2000's that Kid has been looking for as his career progressed. He really has shown a wide range of genre and collabs over the years with so many people. He's someone who is the benchmark of not being stale and growing throughout his career in music. being a 60s baby, Kid Rock arrived kinda late on the scene for me - and to be honest I didn't realize the talent this guy had at that time. As other musicians have pushed me away Kid Rock has brought me in - with his no bs approach and in your face style with the talent to back it up.
