I'm 72years old and it's now 2022and I'm still listening to this kind of music 🎶 and to artists like Jamey Johnson do his version of other people's songs and have the original artists praise Jamey for doing his version
@Kid Rock ♪ hey Kid this is Jeff Yoder the ol'broke down scooter tramp in Phoenix AZ. And I've been a fan of yours since you sang want to be a cowboy and you hooking up with Hank Jr seemed like a natural meant to be thing and your collaboration on Red neck bar seemed like it was meant to happen to and I along with all the rest of your fans I'm thinking, were very pleasantly surprised and please if I can be so bold to say so with your duet with Sheryl Crowe on the old country classic the picture which I'm thinking had to be a big hit for both of you, cause they played on the main country music station and the main easy listening station here in Phoenix so often that when a person would change stations you would hear it on the opposite station from the one you just left
Concur! Im 67, also in Phoenix! and have several of your albums and some from JJ too. I love that you are keeping the music I love, alive. My son is just north of you in C’ville, TN. He is a big fan and his girls are too. Dont stop doing it.
April 15 2023 - 67 y/o - I’ve seen both of these men in concert a few times. My youngest son was in his early teens when he told me I had to hear this song. He said dad I think this song is about you and Kid Rock didn’t know it. My son later introduced me to Jamie Johnson. A few of his songs on his earlier albums spoke to my son about his dad.
I'm 37 now, I sang this in front of my school when I was like 12 or so. Trinny Triggs came to our school in Louisiana and asked if anyone wanted to sing a song. I jumped up and did it until they took the mike away lmfao. I moved away the next year for about 20 years, moved back home with a wife and kids, at a birthday party for an old friends daughter and the old friends bother came up to me and said "I remember you sang only God knows why in front of the whole school, when they snatched the mic out of your hands and you kept goin, man that was epic, it always stayed with me. Thank you for that, I drum for our Christian band and that moment made me want to do it" I felt so big for that conversation. Lol Always do what feels right people!
I well listen to this music till I die keep it up Kid Rock bring that country album out I know you and Bocephus have been working on it I love you God bless you

@Dogue Cub U2 hands down has and always will be the best halftime show the bowl has ever seen. And Kid Rock as of late doesnt have what it takes to top a performance of the magnitude like the one U2 put on years back. Only one that has come close was Coldplay. No disrespect intended to Kid Rock. He's great he just isnt what he used to be.

Jamey is an accumulation of all the country music rockers, blues players and down home music for the last 100 years. With that flat top he can make a grown person think about life from birth to death.
Just like old Hank Sr. said you gotta make people feel what your singing and playing and Jamey does this very well in a time where it's a lost part of the puzzle in country music tradition
these are the two most honest and down to earth musicians there is...They tell it like life really is and it ain't peaches and cream..Keep up the good work....

I've never in all my years had a crush like I have on Jamey Johnson. He is absolutely the best outlaw ever and has filled all the shoes of country music. I love him❤😊
My dad died 8 years ago. He lived in Nashville when he passed and was making music. I SWEAR TO GOD- He faked his death and changed his name to Jamey Johnson. EVERY. TIME. I hear Jamey Johnson sing, it catches me off guard and I think it’s my dad. They literally sound E X A C T L Y the same. 😭❤️❤️❤️

I have seen Kid twice in concert and he puts on one hell of a show. I will go next time he comes around and again and again, one of the best. I wish I could have been at this show, they ROCKED this one !
@Kid Rock ♪ if this is really you I am streaming from the Milwaukee WI area. I moved back to my hometown from MN where I lived for 26 years on a job transfer. I retired from the Canadian Pacific Railroad after 31 years. I was a stenographer. My life hasn’t been easy. I was diagnosed manic depressive in 1976 and have had more hospitalizations than I even care to remember. Music has sustained me thru my ordeal. I’ve seen Skynyrd live before the plane crash. Probably my favorite 😻 concert everRonnie sang to your soul. Saw AC/DC live twice, in 1975 or ‘76 in Milw and 1996 in Mpls OMG my favorite 😍 band ever. RIP Bon. Your music is real and currently you’re my favorite artist, next to John Anderson. I am retired now. Just me and my cat Momo in my condo. Yes, mine all mine ha! God is great. I still have bipolar disorder but that’s ok too. My calling is to do something with prisoners, male or female, Bible reading computer applications whatever. Music. Keep on keepin on Kid Rock. I’m always listening to you. BTW Bad Reputation is great. I even have the t shirt. Love you. Swing by my place with a jug of wine 🍷 lol RIP Ronnie. MILA

Yep, Nashville is turning out a bunch of shitty music these days. Try some Red Dirt music. Some good stuff coming out of TX and OK these days and it ain't coming through Nashville.
This song is so beautiful, the day I came home from the hospital last year, I heard this song. It really got me to thinkin only God knows why He put me in the hospital. A week of a blood clot while the staff drugged me so bad I felt like I was never comin home. I got to feeling like I never put in enough, but only God knows why

Very good job, I have enjoyed , all this music brings back sweet memories, I lost my mom 2009 I lost my husband 2010 lost my son 2011 and I am the cancer survivor, but I would have traded places with either one of them. I was married for 44 years, when I seen Kid Rock Tee Shirt about Cancer , my son had a Ted Shirt that said Cancer suck, I feel I got my Mircale. We all 3 had cancer at once. I took care of them and I forgot I had it Lol , but I had 29 treatments, I am here and so Thankful to God. I guess I have shared too much information I am but I hope I have help someone else, as always God Bless

You're the first time I saw Jamie Johnson he was opening the show for Kid Rock in Jacksonville Florida and I was driving back to California from Florida and I stopped at this gas station out in the middle of nowhere nothing is old man come out and he had a Jamey Johnson t-shirt on it was signed by Willie Nelson and I go hey man I love Jamie Johnson he goes That's My Son that's his mama in the front seat of the car so I got to meet his mom and daddy at the gas station in the middle of fucking nowhere that's my story I love Kid Rock and Jamey Johnson I'm a guitar player songwriter
Hell yeah brother that's awesome I've had the privilege to hang out with kid rock he lived down the street from me in clarkston Michigan he gave the house to his sister quite some time ago now but he's one kool ass cat. Anyway I've been playing drums for 25 years now been in some great band's along the way I'm currently looking for one you interested my brother?
I laid my money down a fought the crowd to see these guys on this tour, I was a single parent in grad school and money was tight and I hate arena crowds but it was worth it. As someone who loves all kinds of music and different songs speak to different parts of me, I have to say this is one says it all for me because it is me, if that makes any sense and if it does explain it to me...I guess only God knows why

Love Kidrock and i was blessed to see Kidrock at Jacksonville, Florida in 2018 at Lynryd Skynyrd Farewell concert alone with The Marshall Tucker Band, BlackBerry Smoke, The Charlie Daniel's Band, Jason Aldean and then Kidrock at the Jaguars Stadium and it was the best had front row seats and even though we got rained on 3 times because of severe weather alerts i wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Also the very next month we were blessed to see him again in Tampa, Florida at the Amphitheatre and Brantley Gilbert and then Kidrock played and at both concerts he rocked the house down and you just never want his concerts to end. Something you never will forget and looking forward to seeing him again one day soon. I'd absolutely love to take one of his cruises called "Chillin The Most". That would be the best cruise ever.
