20 years ago I got to meet Kid Rock. My son was sick and he had the opportunity for make a wish to meet Kid Rock. I had no idea what to expect but it was amazing usually a make a wish meet and greet is maybe 15 to half an hour long sometimes maybe an hour he made it the most amazing Make-a-Wish my son could have possibly ever had. He had the band set up told him he can pick five songs with a Little Help From Me his mother we picked him out the songs they sang at a studio outside of Detroit then he asked us what we were doing the next day and invited us to his home Kid Rock has the biggest heart that I've ever known a man could have. He did so much more ,it never stopped with just with the make a wish when my son was in the hospital he'd give him a call every once in awhile and even send him a guitar for his birthday. I forever pray for him and his family and may God bless him throughout his life for what he did for my son and the real man he is ! God bless you KID ROCK . You can make him smile when no else could and I will never forget that and either will God.# forever remembering Zack

He gave a concert at my base when I was deployed 12 years ago, and it was the highlight of my year in a miserable place. Not many artists make regular tours in combat zones to sing for free to our military, and he is one of the few. As others were talking us down, he was lifting us up.

My husband and I have been following Kid Rock for years. We went to so many of his concerts in Nashville, Randy (Cajun), (my husband) always said Kid Rock was a modern day musical prophet. I played Kid Rock’s music at my husband’s funeral in March. I made a promise to play Never met a White Boy Like Me. And I kept my promise. RIP Cajun! Keep the music coming Kid, I’ll kept listening. Thanks for all the great memories and music.

Kid Rock Rocks, I love this guy! I spent 6 years in the Marine Reserves and 17 years working overseas as a Defense Contractor with the USAF. The message and presentation are quite soul stirring...showing how it should be...people, regardless of color, rallying around each other and addressing a bad situation and turning it into a valuable lesson for all. The 2 kids at the end not thrown in jail and forever branded, but instead confronting their own actions and given the opportunity to apologize and atone for their sins...like how it used to be when I was growing up!!! Excellent and very timely in a world that desperately needs to hear it.
