Kidde 900-CUAR-V Unboxing & Tests 

I unboxed my 10-Year version of this model (30CUD10-V) and it has a different sounding voice!

I would be helpful for you to show us and guide us on how to do the wiring. And also tell us what you did wrong when the green light didn't come on the first time, so we could know what to do to fix it if the same thing happens to us. Now, I'm stuck on the wiring part.

Is it necessary to connect to electricity??? Or will it only work with battery?

Are they directly wired or is there a relay they're all connected to?

I have this one and it just beeps once every other minute idk what to do they came installed already

Its funny how in the interconnect test the kidde 900-cuar-v synced with the kn-cope-ic

One day away from one of Kidde's worst unit's being made on my birthday.

I have that one in my house

I installed it on the ceiling and then tried to practice unplugging the quick connect plug. It was so impossible to unplug that I had to undo the wire nuts to disconnect it from the wires coming from the house. With the detector disconnected ftom the wire harness, I still could not unplug the quick connector plug (while pushing down on the small tab). The design of the smoke detector is terrible.

Why did you buy this again?
