Both children of murdered mother Karen Swift took the stand on Tuesday, recalling memories with their mother and the rocky relationship between their parents. Both kids testified in defense of their father, David Swift, who is accused of murdering his wife, Karen Swift.

Because this is a criminal trial that they want to assist with in order to put their mothers killer behind bars. The direct examination are soft ball questions. As far as the cross examination, it’s a bad technique on the defense attorneys part to speak to these witnesses like that. Doesn’t play well with the jury.

It seems that young children/adults tend to cling to the only parent they have left. So sad she had to take the stand and defend her father. And it’s really sad,she only criticizes her dead mother.

I heard he stalked his second wife to the point she had a restraining order and he violated it so there are charges on him for that. His first wife filed for divorce and then goes missing…..he’s the last person to see her alive…..not too far fetched to consider he killed her.

@@friendnamedjane8686 He was the last person to see her alive AT HOME. I believe she went back out after her daughter fell asleep. She had a habit of going out late, staying out late & even the daughter testified that her mom went out a lot & didn't say where she was going or when she would be back. There was also infidelity in their marriage which probably prompted David to always want to know where she was & who she was with. I think David did have stalking mannerisms about him but that doesn't make him a killer.

The man is not guilty. Anyone could have did this to her because she was very sociable she went out a lot . Could have been anyone.

Being involved with swinger's and being social able usually causes a negative response in a possessive husband ma'am. The jury are influenced too much by her distasteful lifestyle. Shame on them

It was a mistral my understanding there is a new trial for I believe stalking and manslaughter of Karen swift. This jury couldn't agree on involuntary murder but the evidence the prosecution has makes them pursue it. Swift is still in jail.
