So cute director Kitty getting his onscreen time so he can collect his payments in treats. The kids are definitely different, there are some wild ones as there are anywhere. But on MSC I have not seen 1 kid press all the elevator buttons, clogging the stairways, or in a adults only bar at midnight.
I love how they are putting stuff out there for the America. I remember when I booked on the Seaside it was as a promotional thing when they first announced the ship being commissioned for building. Then it was 2 1/2 years of waiting and not hearing or seeing --any-- thing about it. It was soooo frustrating for a cruising addict. 🤣 It really helps when they release stuff on the America to help feed the addiction. 🤣
We were on the Seashore last month, and the main casino was smoke-free. MSC installed a dozen or so slot machines in the sports bar. There is a walled-off casino for smokers close to the sports bar. It resembled an aquarium filled with smokers playing slots.
You mentioned the baggage capacity on the new terminal to incorporate 12,000 people A day potential for two ish ships… and maybe 3… but my guess is double that with both debarkation and embarkation? I wonder if Leonardo will handle any portion of debarkation?
Yes we did receive one and prices are crazy high. We will be happy with our inside cabin and hope for an upgrade on our next. Did you win your upgrade?
@@Taste-Try-Travelwe booked into YC via our travel agent when prices were a bit cheaper, that combined with 10% OBC from our TA + our Voyagers Club $100 OBC made it so we could justify the cost. Oddly the third part email wanted $200pp to “upgrade” to the same category we are already booked into, I found that really strange. Super excited for this cruise though, our primary reason for booking was to sea all the changes on Ocean Cay particularly to see if the rumors about them removing some rock from the YC beach were true.
We just finished an MSC cruise in the yacht club and loved it. We were thinking of booking again, but wanted to try a travel agent to see if there were any advantages. Is there someone you recommend?
I use American Discount Cruises, they offer 10% in OBC. Pretty generous especially for YC, this is in addition to what MSC offers for Voyagers Club benefits. For example our upcoming YC cruise on Seashore comes with $575 from ADC and $100 from MSC for a total of $675.
