@@carloscort7604 I'm confident that it's not the case. The female human clearly says, "Don't bite her," and the small caption above the female gorilla confirms that it's a "she."
@@carloscort7604 they're definitely not. Just like in humans, male species are bigger, heavier and stronger than the females, and you can clearly see it in the video. The head size and form is also an indicator.
The one lying down after being disciplined by Kifu is probably Tambaby. She loves spending time with Freya, and they're usually sneakier with the snacks so Kifu doesn't notice.😂
😂😂 by being white. It's that simple. whypipo always be taking crazy risks because they humanize every single animal they come across. That's why pet chimps tearing off people's faces has mainly happened to white owners
Chimps are apparently waaaay more agro than gorillas. They usually try to deal with you diplomatically. Don't be taller than me don't look me in the eyes, don't hide food. Lol
why is that difficult? She mentioned a ZILLION times that she was brought up with the gorillas. She is part of the pack. And gorilla's are gentle with her. They understand that.
@@peterdavis8471😂😅 to funny but fn right I was scared for her too. Was thinking she’s lucky she had something for him. No telling what he would’ve done if she didn’t have some for him. Could’ve been deadly for both of them.
The silverback is very intelligent, in my opinion he knows that he could take all the peanuts by force but he only asks for it insistently because he knows that if he hurts people he will be isolated or punished. The girl behaved very well by giving all the food to him because he could get quite pissed off.
It is not out of fear of punishment or isolation, instead Zookeepers and handlers prevent silverback gorillas from attacking by building trust through positive reinforcement, understanding their behavior to avoid triggers, respecting their space and territorial boundaries, conducting training sessions for routines and commands, using physical barriers in enclosures, and following strict safety protocols. These measures ensure safe interactions and care for both humans and gorillas in captivity.
@@MrRich710 That will never happen and it literally never has without humans being the one to make a mistake. If there weren’t Gorillas in encloseres they would all be extinct because there are not enough of them in the wild which is obviously why we have conservations. Use your brain, educate yourself and stop the ignorance. Human ignorance is an illness that so easily curable, but humans love their own ignorance and that is fucked I’m so many level.
@MrRich710 Almost all gorillas in zoos are born there or are rescued. But I guess people need to respect them by having them die in the wild instead of having a good life and teaching and inspiring others to care?
@@claybabin ya monkies and apes kill a lot because of percieved unfairness. There was even one in captivity that stalked and killed a woman for feeding another chimp some food without giving him some too. Fairness is extremely important to them. They get very angry about unequal treatment. They recognize bias and dont like it at all.
@@claybabin In the wild the silverback is the leader and protector of the group, from their perspective when his troop shares food secretly behind his back, he has to get involved.
@@claybabinJust to give you an idea, a group of Gorillas was fought by a group of Chimpanzees. The Silverback went at the front and fought 10 Chimps by himself.
Такой самец крупный, и доброжелательный, ябы тоже хотела бы с этой семьей горил так по общаться, ведь у людей мало возможностей так близко подходить к гарилам и общаться😊❤
Bro kept reachin for them snacks like “don’t bite her my a$$.. she know better.. and u do too, I seen you flinch when I ran over here.. keep them snacks comin 4 I run in them pockets” 😂😂😂
@@Zlist1994Maybe 🤔 However, to look like my neighbor Tyrone you don't have to change a thing. He even has the prognathism. And the protruding brow ridge
Actually the people did! The fella is pointing at the beginning of video and says go to the silverback then he, marches over to assert his dominance! All the while the blonde had her neck winded round staring making eye contact as she knew a lesser high ranking ape was with her about to eat before the king!
He's not being greedy he has a strong sense of justice. As the alpha he takes all the risk so demands all the perks. ( The fact there are no risks in that environment is irrelevant! ) His house, his rules, had that rule been broken, he's not the alpha & he would have been forced to punish her. I LOVED that little head turn in the end when he made direct eye contact with her he said: SEE IM THE BOSS!?
Gorillas do not have "alphas" as often depicted in some animal species. Instead, their social structure is led by a dominant male known as a silverback. The silverback's role involves protecting the group, mediating conflicts, and maintaining group cohesion, rather than asserting dominance through aggression. Gorilla groups typically consist of one silverback, several females, and their offspring, with the silverback gaining his position through strength, experience, and social bonds. This leadership is more about guidance and protection than constant displays of dominance. Relationships within the group, such as grooming and social interactions, are important for maintaining stability.
Unless you were a female gorilla. He does that, but he also protect the whole group of attacks from other silverbacks. This is the harsh reality of the wild. You can see that he was an alpha on his wild time, and still is.
I can’t imagine being that close to something so powerful, they have twice the bite force of a lion, they estimate they are a strong as 20 humans. A punch could knock out of Buffalo.
I can see how your dad relies on his training of the gorillas and his daughter. For a split second, Dad wanted to keep Kifu from heading over there. But, he stayed out of it and relied on what he taught Freya about keeping a safe distance and probably not responding like "No, no more cookies.". I can already imagine the dad telling her to always keep a safe distance and not try to withhold food if they're demanding it. And then the reassuring look back to dad. Its all very interesting. The poor mom, just trying to have a nice snack with her friend!
They raised all those Gorilla's. Plus Gorilla's have no history of murdering a human for no reason. I believe it was in a German Zoo. That one was angry enough to leap out of the enclosure to attack. The story goes a woman would visit almost daily and stare at the Silverback eyes. Well they see it as a challenge. So the day it got out it went straight for the woman. Grabbed her by the arm and dragged her around. Then jumped on her and gave her a few nibble bite warnings. I say nibbles because they have a stronger bite than most big cats. And could have torn her apart.
One time at a meeting, we had some new hires and the owner of the company was trying to make a point. He asked me, What do I always say? I didn’t miss a beat and said: it’s good to be king. He was so mad…
He didn’t “touch” her. He banged his shoulder and whole upper body against her, and the impact was part of why she ended up bent over. Also the female human speaks to the Ridgeback saying “Don’t bite her.” Then she looks at her father. He does and says nothing. She says “Poor thing.”, referring I assume to the female, almost prostrate. And then the human female moves back, further away from the submissive female gorilla. The male’s dominance is clear.
@@derrickwashington4997another armchair expert I see. Even in the wild it would be extremely rare for a gorilla to harm a human unless they were doing something disrespectful towards the silverback like staring deep into his eyes and showing off your biggest brightest grin. Generally even if you are in his direct path he would most likely just push you aside and move on unless you challenge him, then shit would get real for the 4-5 seconds it would take him to dismantle you.
Must be nice being an Aspinal. They have their own gorillas which is the coolest thing ever. She looks just like her dad. I'm sure he's proud to see the Lady she's become.
It must be fantastic being that close to a gorilla. Those animals definitely appreciate you being there if only to grab food from you. ' Hug a gorilla ' t-shirt
