I go back to the early-mid 90s when I hear retro-wave, I know this sound is very 80s but I guess it was still prevalent in the early 90s, I was born in 1988 but retro wave TAKES me back to 1993/1994, like the long road trips, cabin rentals in the woods, beach trips, highway hotels in the desert, VHS, chainsawing a pine for christmas at the christmas pines selling, my dad's 1993 pick up truck, that typical grey/pink sky of the early 90s, I dont even know how to explain this but this music just prints it

When music just makes you FEEEEEEEL. I instantly think of everyONE that I love. All things fade away. It's like I'm bleeding out and I have a moment of clarity of everything that matters and everything that does not. I think of every blessing that I have, of every tender mercy of our loving God, of my family and want to be a better man.

When I listen to this music, I feel like....I don't know...travelling far from my gloomy everyday life to meet people and share an unconditional human love.

The 80s was such a magical and mystical time. Music like this helps to conjure those memories 💫❤
