my Pastor, an Apostle and Prophet... when I said... "Bishop, a Man of God wants me to come and preach at a small Pentecostal church", I was fully expecting "Go sit down somewhere". We were in one on one counsel at the time. He looked at me and said "Well, what do you think I'm teaching you for? As my former Bishop said GET YE OUT AND GO PREACH THE WORD!" So... I went, and it was very interesting, the first formal message and it went very well!! I'm glad that Jesus Called me, it ain't easy!
What a great message of the Word of God! Thanks for posting because the Holy Remnant can't get this kind of preaching and teaching in today's churches, where there is a spirit of compromise and not wanting to hurt people's feelings is so prevalent. Thank God for the Truth. Be blessed.
God never called a woman to preach and he never will. It would violate his Word, and God cannot violate his Word. It (the Word) will never come back void. "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence" (1 Timothy 2: 12). Bishop Bonner is absolutely RIGHT! To fight against this message is to fight against God. Men and women just need to humble themselves under the mighty hand of God and accept his Word whether we like it or not!
Bishop Hall this covid 19 bought me back to this message I remember when Bis Bonner preached this message along with the other messages about women preachers and pastor that were teaching things against God's Word- he would say certain messages he didn't want to preach but he had to because God gave it to him to preach - since covid hit a lot of preachers have died and it makes a person wonder is this God's Word coming to pass?? also I miss Bishop Bonner he was so annointed and a very humble man of God - he would have a soul stirring and soul convicting sermon right about now- God rest his soul.....
Hello! I want to chime in on this discussion. First of all, I believe and know in my heart that Bishop Bonner is or as of now was a man of God and God called him and anointed him to preach his word regardless of who didn't believe. I just want to say that I have been under female pastors and I just want to speak the truth. I loved them dearly but every time I was a member under their leadership the whole church was out of order and that's the truth. I would go in to pray with them, sat under their feet and prayed with them in all night prayers and shut-ins. They were indeed prayer warriors but when it came to leading the church, their churches all of them were out of order. I cried, I prayed because I wanted to stay under their leadership but I just couldn't.. I wanted to look the other way but it did not work. There was always confusion and just a mass of problems. When God ordains a work or a leader it is a blessing. There is no sorrow.The blessings of the Lord maketh rich and he adds NO sorrow with it..When anything is out of order it causes a lot of grief, a lot of sorrow a lot of confusion and that is NOT God. I don't believe in arguing over the word of God. God's word is right all by itself and needs no excuse or explanations..Let us love one another and keep on praying for one another. A Woman Bishop cannot have one wife, because she is a woman, that is one qualification of a Bishop, God word gives the qualifications for a deacon, elders, evangelists etc. A female cannot meet their qualifications because she is a female. A female was not created to carry heavy burdens of pastorship, that is man's job.When woman are pastors the men become "Weak" The anointing flows from God to the man to the woman and then the family and the household. God is an orderly God whatever he does, he does it in order. It's nothing to fight over just accept what we read in God's word, believe it and do it. There is nothing hard about it. "All Scripture is given by the inspiration of God". Man didn't write the Scriptures on their own, they were anointed to write the Scriptures. God bless all of you.

I have noticed that where women pastor, the women are domineering, unruly and confrontational; the men are weak, hen-pecked, or jelly-backed and their membership is smaller. I went to one church where the woman was the pastor and her husband was a deacon! Having been saved 50 years, I have come to realize that this matter is not going to be settled until Jesus comes. So when I go to them (not often), I concentrate on the things we have in common, and leave the rest to Jesus. I can't speak for another woman, but I want a man to be the head of my home, and the leader of the church. Most people don't realize that the man is the head of every woman. 1 Cor. 11:3 He is more than your lover but your covering, protection, and provider. (Not saying women can't work, but he should take the lead role in the home.) Single women/single parents, do what you need to do for your self and your family. Until you get married YOU are the head of your home. NOTE: I am NOT talking about an abusive or chauvinistic man. I'm talking about a man that is kind and loving, who knows how to be negotiable or reasonable. IF YOU MAKE ME YOUR QUEEN, I'LL MAKE YOU MY KING!!

This is a great anointed Word directly from God. "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence" (1Timothy 2:12). The role of women in church today is so out of order because the failure of men and women to obey the Word of God. There are absolutely no biblical qualifications written for women to be bishops, elders, pastors, deacons, or evangelists. Absolutely no qualifications. Bishop Bonner is speaking truth that cannot be condemned. Period!

Man of God Ive read & search the scriptures including the ones you Qouted but yet there's no solid foundation for the Question I asked. Yes God hand picked 12 Apostles of the male gender but no where in scripture does it say Apostles are males only... Many argue that Junia was an Apostle because of the Greek words & interpretations of the text & work her & her husband done before Paul came to Christ. Romans 16... Concerning the Pastor title God said I'll give pastors after my heart. Jeremiah 3:15 He Never mention gender.There's many women who Has done the Work of a Evangelist & Teacher. God said "the people that do know their God shall do great exploits & shall instruct many." Daniel 11...God never mention gender. Only time he mentions gender is concerning the Bishops title.... moneygreen3 Thanks for your reply. Again, only men are portrayed in the scriptures as apostles, pastors, evangelists, or teachers. There is scripture for aged women who are permitted to teach younger women. The scriptures are clear on those God called to go into all the world and preach the gospel. This command was given directly to the eleven apostles (male gender) after Jesus rose from the dead. In Romans 16, Junia is not an apostle, because that would contradict Paul's command forbidding women to teach or usurp authority over the man (1Timothy 2:12). I agree that many women have done great work for the Lord Jesus, but yet that does not justify women operating in an office which the scriptures doesn't approve of. Jesus said, "many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied.......and in thy name done many WONDERFUL WORKS. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: (Matthew 7:22-23). The enemy knows that our mothers, grandmothers, sisters, and wives are dear to our hearts and we trust them, yet we cannot and must not violate God's word and exalt them (female gender) to an office or position that is unscriptural. Women can and are allowed to prophesy. But prophesying and preaching are two different administrations. The gifts & calling of God are without repentance. Our foundation is rooted in the genuine Apostolic faith. Bishop preached the Truth. I have always wondered how a woman could meet the Qualifications of a preacher. The Bible plainly says I suffer not a woman to teach nor to usurp authority over a man. One of the qualifications is you MUST be apt, which means ABLE to teach. Also He says you must be blameless the HUSBAND of ONE wife. How can a woman be a Husband?? She CAN'T. So plainly she CANNOT preach, you are DECEIVED if you think you can. If a woman gets on the floor to preach, teach, or anything else and a Man of God is there, she IS usurping authority over the man and is OUT of her place.

Ramel Rush The Lord may permit a woman to prophesy but not be a "prophet" to be a prophet is one of the 5 ministry callings. The Lord can use a donkey to speak His words if He has to but to be a "prophet" you once again have to meet the qualifications. A prophet is a preacher. I've studied to show myself approved unto God and I know how to rightly divide the Word of Truth. There is the gift of prophesy and this is seen and heard in the preached Word of God, and there is the office of the Prophet I know well. The gift of prophesy is in the Church and it is one of the Spiritual gifts that comes with the Holy Ghost, which the Lord poured and is pouring out on men & women.

Any man that supports a woman bishop/pastor is an Ahab and any woman that support it is a Jezebel. The HolyGhost does not ordain a woman bishop/pastor. the written word and the HolyGhost will agree! My mother was called to preach at age 21 & she was in doubt that it was God telling this, but was confirmed by 3 other elders which were reknon men of great annointing who prophecied to her that "many will not receive her testimony but for her shake off their rejection, as God has placed His seal & annointing on her to preach His word". Men stop worrying about what women should or shouldnt do. Stand up for God and let him use you and right will follow. Look at the church there are too few men in church and even fewer men willing to stand up and step forward and when women do we start bleeting about it's not that their right or place to do so. If men stand up numerically and suficientl, women wont need to.

By Faith, Not By Sight From the time Eve was created she didn't want to obey God's word too, i see it is still going on. Obeying God's word is not easy. but he is God you know. and we are to serve him and not ourselves.
That wasn't relaying a fact that was preaching the sharing the good news, they told what they had experienced and were commissioned by Jesus speak forth this prophetic utterance (Matthew 28:9). This is part of the Gospel message, although it wasn't whooped tuned up or hacked, Jesus has risen! There were more than the original 11 disciples in the room commissioned to preach repentance & remission of sins in Jesus Name, the women were there as well "that were with them". Read Luke 24
As with all of the Epistles the Apostles wrote letters to the churches and dealt with issues in those particular bodies this did not mean these were rules for all of the churches. When you study the Word you must know, the writer, audience and time it was written. Paul addressed issues at the church of Corinth this did not forbid Women from preaching at all but rather dealt with issues of a specific church. This order was concerning the household not the church (Adam & Eve represent family).
I see it like this, it's out of order, men are ordained to be the head and leaders, what if a man ran up in church with a gun and a female got up and told all the brothers to get under the benches, and sister on three lets rush the gunman... just out of order

The Bible says, "But the anointing which ye have received of him (Jesus) abideth in you, and ye need not that any man (theologian or philosopher) teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him" (1 John 2: 27).

I'm a female and I agree with Betty Harris...a woman cannot be a bishop..I don't know where they got this from..foolishness..is it because the men are running from the responsibility..don't know. But God does not ANNOINTED who he does not appoint so there must be sorrow and confusion at the head of it's not the right person there

Sir, we KNOW God is the ultimate SPIRITUAL head. REMEMBER EDEN: God create Adam & Eve and He aligned them in His order. This topic is about God's order with humanity. If we move into misalignment in the church, then that is disorderly and NOT GODLY or the Bible.

A bishop is a particular office or authoritive place within the general Ministry. It's not the entire office to encompass all ministration of God's Word. Yes, Paul instituted this position as an Apostle, but He also declared to the Corinthian church that "their" statutes that mandated outright, theforbidding of any woman from doing any work in their church asifit were ordained by the Lord but Paul rebuked them for this as they learned & taught these traditions of old Jewish customs as Doctrine!

received as His minister to the lost, as their "traditions" have become doctrine while they ever endeavor to lay yet more customs and regulations onto it's flocks that were not directly commanded or even espoused in His Word. Israel had many a great women that were used by God's purpose for His covenent people. They were often directly implaced by God to literally be the instrument to spare the existence of Israel such as recorded in Esther. Its better to obey God rather than man so judge this.
