Hi, I removed my wiper today, and now my back camera doesn’t work, and I can’t open my trunk. But I did everything like you said in the video. What do you recommend, what should I do?
Hello, if you’ve only unplugged the wiper motor this doesn’t effect the reverse camera or lock issue. The only thing i can think is maybe you have unplugged the rear badge and boot lock, that would probably be your issue?
@@KillAllWipers Well, I don't know, the problem hasn't been solved since then. Everything has been fine so far, maybe I short circuited something? Checked it with Carly and it says the comfort control unit is faulty.
do you have any plugs or something with a screw in the back? i dont know why but i dont really trust the sealing to actually seal it from water getting inside, same if i may press on it. If i was to press on the plug will it actually fall off or how safe is this thing without any screw that are holding it in place from the back?
niklas bengtsson hello! Our kit is meant to be flush and it is impossible to do this with a screw type kit. Our sealant is specifically made to keep water out and also ensure security so it can’t be pushed. This said, it is possible to remove the kit at a later date but would require cutting sealant away to do this! Hope that helps ease your mind!
Hey, sorry only just seen this! Use a smaller flat head screwdriver and it should break the seal between the wiper and the wiper motor stalk, do the top, then bottom and then twist the screwdriver once it breaks the seal and it should come off!
Super good video and informative! I'm looking to install my rear wiper back on after deleting it with this kit, what would you recommend to safely pop the black bung through without shattering the rear windscreen?
Hey dude! Glad it has helped you out! The best way is to cut the sealant away, it will not change form until +800 degrees. You can cut the sealant away from the inside and the outer side, push the kit back in to the boot and clean up with strong glass cleaner! :D Cheers man

Great video ordered a kit for my MK7 today. If you don't code the rear wiper out, and press the wash button on the stalk, will it log a fault now the motor is disconnected?

If you don't disable it with the computer, will the car complain about the viper not working on the info screen? Or is it just for no water 💦 purposes?

Will Power hey man, it sure can! You would just need to cut away the sealant, push the kit back in to the hatch and clean the glass wiper motor will pop back in and you’re back to stock 🙏🏻
