I bought one of these after watching this very detailed video, thanks. They're not cheap, considering it's basically the same parts as an oversized camp stove, but it works like a jet engine on a stick. Very impressive and far better than the electric one we bought last year on the basis of a top 10 review site. I have just more or less cleared a large area of driveway and will give it a second going over in a day or two.

We use a propane tank with a burner, great for keeping grass down under garden fence.

Was using my new one today. A bit fiddly to get going, but got there. Three Liters you say would be the amount to put in the tank (Kerosene) If using when the pressure runs down (forgot to pump up to 25 psi on one occasion) Will their be a burn or kill on the weeds. The turn on/off valve for the Kerosene, is a wee bit iffy. But - all in all - an excellent machine.

I was thinking of using paraffin instead of Kerosene as the Kerosene I have used has been quite dirty, any thoughts on trying this ?

I haven't used my flame gun for 3 years and the hand pressure pump seems to be blocked - any suggestions for cleaning/maintaining the valve in the hand pressure pump?

Hi, Im having trouble getting my Sheen gun going. The jet has been cleaned, the wick is very old, can this be replaced

Hi Donna, could I ask you to send in an email to support@quickcrop.com FAO Andrew & he will troubleshoot with you, just in case the problem isn't the wick. It could be that there is a blockage elsewhere. We do sell a service kit including a wick if that does turn out to be the issue. Thank you :)

Hi, you just turn the knob which turns off the supply of kerosene :)

I have an infestation of wild garlic, I wonder if repeated blasting would eventually rid me of them?

Garlic is awesome to keep bugs pests like a rabbits. Not recommended near Green Beans. An organic Garlic spray with a few uses. If garlic loves your garden you should let it grow and sell it at market or trade it for tomatoes etc.

Just after Buying one of these flame Gun , i have followed the instruction on how to get started , have given up trying No fuel coming out to light the wick . i just don't know what to do is mine faulty should i return it . if anyone reads these messages how can i get advice on my next step .

I got to about 3.40 and nothing happened. Pressure at 25 pounds, small flame in "chamber", plenty of clean kerosene.. what am I doing wrong?! It's my first time using it,and it is brand new
