Its here! Banger vid as always, banger setting too, Tom Bloom never misses... Ever wondering where hes got time to work on all the projects like that lol
@@Zaktact the man certainly is build different, really hoping the time when he will share his secrets with us mortals, but they say magicians never reveal they tricks...
Man, there's just way too much cool stuff in the book, from the art to the fluff, to just even the layout design. Loving that hype, that build up; it's so easy to paint it as nothing more than just grim and dark until you die, but after that video just MAN! Wipe the stain away until it is done!
I fucking adore just how hype you make the subject sound in your videos. Like they aways ARE hype by themselves but you just take it and run with it and its amazing :D
Cool video. Only thing I thought was odd was the catagories of sin seemed kind of restricted. I'm not sure that most psychic tension can be categorised like that. Especially the "Centipede" one, the psychic process that gives rise to them seems like such a specific thing, and why does it always appear in the form of a centipede? It just seems like there could be so many more categories than just those six. Like, for example, the feeling of wanting to hide away from the world, of social alienation and isolation (without the desire to attain social connection as seen in the idol). That could lead to a cool stealth based Sin that the party would have to work to ferret out.
So mechanically two sins of the same type could vary wildly form each other. What I covered was a basic generalization. As in what you describe, that situation could fit nicely with a more particular variant of the Ogre or Lord. The video was already stretching in length, but I'd love to do a more thorough video on each sin, there example manifestations, and their internal variance. I agree on the surface it seems a little limiting, but it leaves room for more particular individual sins and traumas within. You can also run it that these are just the limited classifications the organization CAIN uses.
Comment offering for the algorithm. Also are you gonna make a vid one how to run a session of CAIN? I just got the book and would love to know your take on it.
Damn this looks great, I've never heard of this! (Btw, you should check out Kult: Divinity Lost; I have a feeling it's right up your alley --- and there's tons of great lore you could spin a few cool videos out of!)
Heya, this may be a bit weird to ask, but have you hear of the channel 11dragonkid? I've just noticed you've covered quite a few things they have, and it's neat to get a more in-depth look at the stuff and setting from these reviews. Anyways, I can't wait for when you have to explain the Pegasus. ¿%:?EXTR!UDE GUN - GUN: GUN is very GUN.
What's interesting to me is that it seems like the Sins in their own way care about their hosts. I could be wrong but it would be an interesting dilemma to see a host try and protect their Sin.
It's further in the details of sins in particular, but all were spawned from their host and carry some reflection of them. There are also other ways of dealing with a sin and host outside of violence, though CAIN doesn't like it.
