I said that once and I'm going to say it again: your narrative battle reports are one of the best if not the best on RU-vid :) With Season 3 new teams, rules, and terrains I'm looking forward to your new narrative stories
Once the next batrep is done we're pivoting the format so we can be more flexible with the teams we field so stuff like that will definitely be possible.
I love these. I watched the entire narrative series in the past few days. I hope we see more teams in the future. Another Kasrkin or vet guard team are my favorites. Also the xenos seem interesting
Your production values are insane, your narratives are catching, your battlefields great looking and your minis are splendidly painted. All in all, this is probably the best battle report series I´ve seen, and really, the only one I look forward to new episodes of. That is a huge compliment
This once agains feels like a very one-sided match up. Just like with the last one, I have no idea what the daemons could have done differently to win this one. Any ideas?
I'd say the daemons need buffing, because they do, but GW have confirmed there won't be any more balance passes for the compendium teams. Our best bet is to hope for a bespoke team at some point.
And it would have been even more one-sided if the Justicar had gone for fighting the blood reaper (which he almost certainly wins with six or so wounds remaining) rather than point blank overwatch (which is likely to end like it did here: inflict some damage on the bloodreaper and get torn apart). I think the demons did have a chance. At the end of tp2 they were almost even and I think one demon charged a 1 wound grey knight in tp3 and failed to roll a single hit. If he had landed that, it might have swung the game because that grey knight went on to kill a couple more demons before finally going down. If those demons got to gang up on brother Thorn (I think he was the one in the doorway) I think there's a chance he would have gone down.
I've been hoping and praying for a bespoke daemons team since compendium I just want a leader Flamer of Tzeentch or able to field my lil flying stingray buddies, is that really so much to ask GW 🥺
Saw this video pop up on my break at work today. Have been so excited to sit down and watch it on the big screen with a brewski. Thanks so much guys, this has made my day!!
Took me way to long to sit down and watch this but happy I did! Very excited for the next episode! As for the beastie, this is a long shot but xenos that are meant to be stuck in Koronus sound like the Rak'Gol. So thats my shot in the dark.
Thoroughly enjoyed the vid. I'm looking forward to the conclusion. Congrats on the quality of your product. 😊 as for the mysterious white figure... maybe an accursed cultist or simply a genestealer... I reckon its an accursed cultist conversion 🤔👍😊
These are great and thank you for the entertaining videos. If I wanted to do something similar to what you both are doing would I just need the Warhammer 40,000 Boarding Actions Terrain Set and the Kill Team Annual 2023 besides any regular Kill Team stuff I already have? (teams, dice and tools etc.).
Thanks! For some of the missions we’ve played you would also technically need the narrative terrain expansion packs that were released in Into the Dark and Shadow Vaults (also Soul shackle and gallow fall if you wanted to do those missions specifically but we haven’t featured them). However, there’s plenty of regular missions you can do with just the basic boarding action set!
Unfortunately there are no Nids in the Koronus Expanse but there is a Genestealer Cult on the Dead World planet Sunerisle in Accursed Demesne. However there are Rak'Gols which actually are only in Koronus Expanse. Imagine mixing Nids with Demon Engines = Rak'Gol. Some say that they came from a different galaxy but nobody really knows. Moreover, nobody has survived a close encounter with them so far. There are even homemade Kill Team rules created by somone for Rak'Gol. I guess we have to wait and see what's going to show up :)
