If there’s one thing that makes comedians the most uncomfortable, it’s complimenting them. They would literally prefer you call them a slur than say “you’re really an amazing guy”
@@Ahren_Belisle you did the damn thing Ahren, Tony helped, and thats amazing, but dont forget, it's YOU and your talent that made this happen... big fan!
That was an extremely heartfelt message directly from his soul. I did not expect that from him. I’m so glad he was given a chance, I couldn’t even begin to imagine how hard life would be in his situation
I work with adults who have various disabilities and the biggest thing that they all want is that they want to be heard and to be understood and I’m so grateful that you have a platform that’s filling that need for you!
@@BankaiFeverbeing disabled doesn’t only mean you’re on the spectrum. A war veteran with no legs is disabled. I’m utterly shocked you can act like a fan of his and not even recognize that he refers to himself as “disabled” or “special needs”. All those name imply are exactly what they say 😂 come on bro.
Even with a voice, I felt alone and invisible as a teenager in high school, I cannot even imagine what high school was like for someone unable to use speech articulate their feelings. Thank you for your mental toughness and your clever lightheartedness, you really really are an inspiration.
This is still my favorite KT moment ever. Being human is too lift the world around you up and bring joy. Honestly you are one of my favorite comedians. Keep up the great work!!
Ahren you're funny as shit! And have giant balls to talk shit to the biggest comedians! And earn the respect of greats like Ron White & Roseanne Barr! We are all waiting patiently to see where your new career will take you.
@@dave-ox2eo He really is. You can see from when Tony called his Dad, how he used humour to make him feel the same as everyone else... which he is....maybe a bit wonky on the left....but the same. Lol
😂😂 Someone needs to find this man some kind of tech that he doesn't need to type with...Would you be willing to get that Elon chip ? Because that would be fucking amazing I'm 200% positive that Joe Rogan could set that up.. like not even joking around that would be crazy
Ahren is right to give props to those who support him and give opportunity but I hope he knows his success is his own. The talent required to be that funny and achieve a level of connection to the audience so strong that the synthetic voice becomes irrelevant is mind blowing and the fact he can reference it for comedic value without making it a prop or a bit is truly the mark of comedy genius. Most people with his talent and disabilities would be regarded as highly successful and over achieving by writing comedy for others but to put himself in the spotlight and perform live stand up at this level is comparable to a paralympian competing and winning in the regular games. Basically Ahren is the Oscar Pretorius of comedy if I was his partner I'd install bullet proof doors.
While I Def have my hangups on tony, I don't think he's funny much of the time and I think he can be a big bully; I can acknowledge the good that he's done for comedy and by giving a platform to the special needs community without treating them like they're not adults. It is far too common to see ppl treating special needs people as if they aren't ppl who deserve the same respect and the same roasting that the rest of us deserve. So props for that. Also Ahren is Hella funny
Hell yeah my dude. Ive been a fan of KT for 10 years. You've always been a gem and I'm always excited when you're around! My cousin with CP loves comedy and was very excited when I showed you to her. Keep being you brother ❤
Ahren, you're a good comic man. You bring happiness to the world instead of bitterness and resentment. That's an incredible gift. Hope you keep at it. As someone with a severe congenital heart condition myself, I know too well how easy it is to succumb to the negative thoughts instead of being hopeful and positive. I can't completely empathize with you because we have a much different condition, but I do understand the nuance of living with a disability. You're a great example to keep pursuing dreams no matter what. Keep being funny and just being your true self, man.
Had me starting to tear up its true tony changed his life like many others but not all can say it n its nice to hear when someone gives the love YOUR AWESOME TONY
Tony seems like a genuinely good dude, and look at how many people from many different walks of life he has helped bring to the stage! Tony is the man.
Imagine all your life you're never heard and understood. This made me tear up. Thank you Ahren for not giving up but giving us laughters, and thank you Tony for giving hidden gems like Ahren opportunities to shine.
Damn... 😢 you killed it Ahren! I just cried. This whole situation is amazing and beautiful. Tony really has done an amazing thing. And has a beautiful heart. "If you die we're all f@#$ed" 😅😂
I showed you too my missus and she loves your comedy. Her mum is horrifically offended. Good man dont stop keep working like you have 8 arms brother ill be listening the whole time. So.happy you decided to do comedy. We all would of missed out if you didn't
I love that you found your niche and found your voice with your lucky break on this show. What a fucking amazing coincidence, keep on being funny and being yourself.
You are the man dude. I tagged you in a special controller video on Facebook and like 5 minutes later you commented back. Humble beyond belief even though you kill it man. Can’t wait to see you on the panel someday
YOU ARE SO HOT! Everybody’s so caught up with their own shit that they are never worried about what you’re doing. I’m so proud of you and the fact that you believe in yourself. Also HOT BOY 10/10 Your Utah set was so funny
I love how people hate on Tony for his “traditional” comedy approach USUALLY from the liberal side of things that cares about diversity and inclusion while Tony is the most inclusive comedy host EVER
You've got it, bruv. Keep strong. While a lot of us feel unheard, you're on a higher level of that. But that's the golden opportunity to be a beacon of light for others. I hope you know how much we appreciate you, your strife, and your success. Some day you'll have the opportunity to rest on your laurels. If "imposter syndrome" ever creeps in... just mark my words: don't you dare, you sonofabitch! Enjoy life. You're here for it.
Man, you are such an inspiration! And on top of all this, you have actually become one of my favorite comedians (should totally do Adam rays show when he’s doctor phill) . Keep killing it!!!
You're a badass, Ahren. I have muscular dystrophy, too, and am a heart transplant survivor. I had a hard life of being misunderstood and bullied. Now I make music and wanna do some standup about my life and experiences. So inspired by you and the other special needs comics we get to witness through Kill Tony.
"I'm speaking the language of comedy, which turns out to be my real voice. From a guy who has always wanted to be heard, thank you." That was actually beautiful and made me sniffle a bit wtf. Good shit my dude
He's funny af, im glad he's able to communicate now 😢 very very funny and glad he's getting to do stand-up, hope making hella people laugh is helping his depression
I was never heard growing up either, and was very depressed. When I was 16 i took acid and it really opened my eyes, and I started ranting about zen Buddhism and metaphysics in my psychology class, and actually started having conversations about interesting things with other students who I'd never normally talk to. I felt happy with myself for the first time. I'll never forget coming home and telling my dad about it and him immediately shutting me down, telling me he doesn't give a shit and yelling at me for no apparent reason. I went right back to being depressed, struggling with suicidal thoughts every day. Was right back to getting high all the time and being the quiet kkd at school who kids made school shooter jokes about all the time. I never realized growing up how much my dad contributed to my misery. He made me feel so worthless, and I was a social outcast because I never developed any social skills or self-esteem.
Hey world if forgot ... This is the reason we are #1 , we're else can someone with his disabilitys somehow become a very successful comedian .... Nowhere but America 🇺🇸
That was an awesome thank you, honestly. And he does have a point Kill Tony is changing lives. Congratulations to Ahren, and the cast and producers and everyone involved in Kill Tony. Really happy to see Ahren blow up, hilarious. Everytime I see a short of Ahren I fall over or cry laughing.
He is making history. There has never been a mute standup comedian that is speaking through technology. Thats because of tony giving him the opportunity....even for 1 minute
Man we do like to hear what you have to say,for a man with no voice your words pack an incredible punch Ahren, and the language of comedy that you speak reaches us all, every single person, all around the world, that has the pleasure of listening to you and your jokes, appreciates you man. Keep doing what you love brother because we love it,and we love you.
This is one of my fave KT moments. Ahren seems like such a good guy. He could've said that behind the scenes. But he said it in front of everyone. He eems so genuinely appreciative. I'm happy for him.
