Thank you for sharing this video. I’ve recently had the pleasure of camping at Killbear at the end of September 2023. It was warm enough to swim in Georgian Bay! It was a great experience. I’m willing to go again. I agree with camping on the shoulder seasons is the way to go. Happy camping.
We’ve got to get our passports and visit this area! Thank you for the wonderful introduction! So beautiful! Enjoyed seeing Ranger again! We have two shelties… Bailey and Savannah.
As others have commented, another great video! You have a knack for producing very interesting content. Thank you for taking us along on your adventure. ~Jim
The winters here are beautiful too....though camping in January isn't for the faint of heart....and that includes us ;) Thanks very much for your kind comments Albert!
Thanks very much Alice. And yes, We’d suggest it’s much easier to book in September… especially mid week when the kids are back in school. Hope you enjoy it there as much as we do!
Enjoying your channel. Did you used to have an older channel? I remember watching an older video, you had an orange truck. I’m really enjoying the new channel
Good catch David, yes we did. It was focused just on Ontario camping. When we retired and decided to travel and camp more (like Yukon and Alaska last year and Newfoundland this coming summer) we decided to create the True North Camping channel and try to create more in depth videos. So it’s really great to hear you’re enjoying them. Thanks very much!
Please don't believe them ...Killbear is ONE of the Worst Provincial Parks I ve ever been too!! Rough Geogian Bay ...cramped camp sites...Rattlesnake s . These people are only trying to distract you from FAR nicer parks ! The Pinerys for example..do yourself a big favor and stay away 😢😢
The only thing “these people” are trying to do is share their honest opinions based on decades of experience with fellow campers. But hey, we agree with you, the Pinery is a lovely campground.
