THIS is what "Protect and serve" should mean. Cop could have been an a-hole about the truck facing the wrong way on the shoulder but chose to get the kids where they needed to go while making sure they were safe. This cop needs to be recognized for his actions.
My prom was held at the Disneyland Hotel. In fact, there were several schools’ proms being held at the same time. My date and I ditched our’s for a bit and crashed another school’s until they realized we weren’t students at their’s. We had a blast!
This is what I love to see. The police and population, getting along, helping each other out. No swearing, no disrespect. Well done on the Deputies part. That’s a cop.
God Bless that Police Officer. For keeping the kids safe & for going above & Beyond. I'm glad the kids got to go to their Prom❤ Great Story. Thank you.
3 weeks later the mechanics still can't figure out what's wrong with it? Get new mechanics, preferably ones that actually have some idea what they are doing.
@ironman4do ---> Don't blame the Mechanics! Blame G-M-C / Chevy company designers/builders for making bad products that cost more than a house does! Same with Dodge & Ford the last 4 years.
@@gusloader123 Umm...no? The mechanics are absolutely to blame if something like this happens. When you hire a supposed expert to fix a problem, it's only reasonable to assume they: A) Actually know what they are doing, or B) Will tell you they don't, so you can bring it to someone else who does. If neither of those things happen, the blame lies squarely on the "expert". Blaming the company who made a product is just crazy talk. That's like blaming the pipes for plumber not understanding piping. 😜
@@ironman4do That's a bad comparison. Because the plumber and pipes are not constantly changing and becoming more difficult. Can you imagine having to remove the sink, toilet, shower, light switch, fan whenever you wanted to access a simple pipe. cars use to be way easier to fix up but not anymore. If you wanted to change a headlight or break light. You could just pop it out and back in. Some cars now you have to remove a fender, battery. Some cars have headlights that are only accessible through the wheel well. So you need to get it on a lift just to access the light. There's entire forum posts or videos of mechanics talking about how annoying some cars are to do basic things.
@@michiman6757 Ok, are you seriously trying to justify why people who's job it is to do something, and can't do it, aren't at fault for that? Like...really? 🤔 Fine, if a plumber is too "basic" a job for you? You hire a vet to operate on your dog. They putter around in surgery for a hours and then just say "Well crap, I can't figure this out. Guess I'll try again and again till maybe I get it." Is that ok? Of course it's not. The medical field changes constantly, and there are always new tools being made, new procedures being learned, new ways of practicing medicine. The body is every bit as complex a machine as a car is... But it's your vet's job to keep up with the field. It's their job to know what they are doing. And, if the vet doesn't know what they are doing, they will refer you to a specialist who does! If they don't know what they are doing, don't refer you elsewhere and then screw up or misdiagnose things, you can bet your A people aren't going to blame anyone but them. Now imagine if it was a surgeon, and YOU were the patient... Are you going to blame the company who made the complex surgical tool being used, or the doctor who wasn't trained enough with it to know how to use it?
Not only taking them to the prom but offering to take pictures for them was was great. It seems like the officer enjoyed the conversation he had and getting to be their ride to prom.
Fr! GM is straight up unreliable and garbage. If anything they should get Toyota or Honda trucks. (Idk if they make the best trucks in the world i’m just assuming since those two brands are reliable) or as you say older trucks to save some cash.
@@acecombat02 my boyfriend hasn't had any problems with his Rams... his 2013 went over 300,000 km... his 2019 is around that now, no issues, we'll, other than their paint jobs are garbage now compared to the 2013. Rock chips right to metal instead or just the primer being exposed so alot of rust.
@@acecombat02my company switched from all GM to Ford when the company mileage limit expired on the company vehicles. Switched to Ford and have not had any complaints or issues since. I have a 2017 F-150 and besides having a brake caliper freeze up (which is more likely to do with a bad maintenance job by a garage, rather than Ford QC) I’ve had no issues. Toyotas are nice but they are getting too expensive for what’s being offered in the price range
That's awesome what an unforgettable prom my boyfriend and I got pulled over for speeding because my boyfriend had a bad nose bleed and was trying to get home before it got on his rented tuxedo we had nothing with us to stop it. The cop let us go.
I went to my prom in late May almost 36 years ago with a good friend of mine. I was a senior and my friend was a junior. I had a very good time. He was so shy and quiet. I was so outgoing and even now these days. I should been the quiet one.
Wonderful story! It was totally awesome of the officer to help the kids get to the prom! 🙂 (also, just wish to help: if the young man gets a big brown bottle of hydrogen peroxide from the dollar store and, every night before bedtime, if he saturates a cottonball & dabs the peroxide all over his face, then lets it air dry, then goes to bed, he'll find that his face will gradually & fairly quickly clear up. Also helpful: bring a bar of mild soap such as Kirk's castille soap to school & wash face at lunchtime, then again after getting home from school, then wash face again before applying the peroxide at night, and also wash face first thing in the morning: 4 times a day. And finally, if possible, he might ought to be tested for food allergy, especially milk or lactose allergy.)
jesus they are both really scary looking meant to be together lmfao not to mention they clearly dont know how to drive how the hell did they end up on the wrong side of the road??????????
