Really nice job, beautiful fish. Great job pulling those babies through the weeds. One after another. Did your propeller make it through those weeds, without having to clean it excessively? Mine never does!
Thanks! The nk180 prop cuts through almost anything except the vines, but the propel drive needs to come out in the thick stuff. It gets tangled in everything.
I’m watching the area you are fishing and it looks like snag city to me. Do you just find that the lure cuts through it without any trouble, or are the snags just getting edited out?
It's a little of both! I do get stuck occasionally, but I try to throw things that should come through easily, or that I can at least pop out. A swim jig kinda comes through everything, same as a weedless rigged swimbait. Any time it does get stuck a little, I just pop the rod and it usually comes out.
@@matthewgrossman4032 Oh yeah, even 'weedless' wacky hooks would get gunked up constantly around the milfoil algae and vines in muddy. That's something I would throw early season before all the milfoil grows in.
