Just like Mortal Kombat and SoulCalibur, Killer Instinct has amazing music, graphics, characters. I just hope they make a long story mode for KI in the future. This series needs more publicity and popularity. So criminally underrated
it does actually have quite a rich story...it just requires a "read between the lines" thing going on. MK and Tekken kind of do the same thing. Essentially the backstory of KI is this: there are two dimensions...the Human Dimension and Demon Dimension. The Demon Dimension was at war for many ages and then was eventually ruled by the Demon Warlord Gargos. Deciding he wanted to expand he tried to take the Human Dimension (this was in ancient days). There was a huge battle across our world and many creatures and people were involved. These men called the Ancient Guardians (whom Kim Wu is the descendant) used their powers to seal Gargos away in the Demon Dimension, ensuring it could only be opened from OUR SIDE. Unfortunately as time passed Humanities knowledge of such powers, arcane magics and abilities faded and we became more known as the realm of technology (also used in other science fiction novels). After World War II emerged a man called Ryat Adams who became the founder and CEO of Ultratech, originally it was founded on good intentions and looked to create a better future for humanity. Unfortunately Ryat Adams did not trust Ultratech to any Human successor, the Board of Directors became corrupt and so he decided to create a machine to carry on his legacy (which is where ARIA was born). ARIA does want to protect the Human world...but her methods are extreme, then again she knows about Gargos and most others don't. She feels Gargos is the necessary evil needed to make Humans say "right, we need to work together" which is why she and her forces are manipulating things to get him back to our dimension.
@@jeice-sonocteer1199 i have to admit KI had the best choice of guest characters i've seen in like 15-20 years and this is coming from someone who has never liked guest characters much. Rash was funny and good for the retro community, RAAM was intimidating and suited the game very well (plus xbox = gears of War so...makes sense). and Arbiter, although his game play was probably a little odd for KI he still suited very well (cause again xbox = halo). in retrospect the guests in MK X...to be fair they could have been worse...i've seen much worse (the star wars ones in Soulcalibur comes to mind). Predator and Alien were great, Jason just made sense IMO...didn't like Leatherface though (but then i have always hated him...texan mutated psychotic, face wearing freak of nature). i would have prefered Spawn.

I didn't do retro costumes because I didn't want it to be the same as the last one then I also got a video played to have all costumes in it default and retro.
Someone playing Shadow Jago at this one tournament I watched did a 133 hit Ultra combo, and then on top of that, he transitioned right into Shadow Jago's Ultimate. Greatest combo I've ever seen.
I just realized, in Spinal's victory outro, his shield makes a somewhat distorted sound of Jim Carrey's "Wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world."

+Monica Morris The last one they made was Killer Instinct Gold on the Nintendo 64 that was 1996, this Killer Instinct (KI3 if you will) was released with the Xbox One in 2013 and they just released the last character for Season 3 Eyedol, so now they have every character from past KI's in the game. Hoping they do a Season 4 with original characters or even some guest. If anything they should add No Mercy's (Fatalities) and Ultimates for all Characters.
+Life And Death They have just outdone MKX. This is by far the best fighting game I've seen, like you said if they added fatalities this game stands a chance of being the best Revamp of all time.
IMO it would've been nice if the giant tarantula in Sadira's stage could be used in a "Stage Ultra"... "DEVOURED" or maybe "TANGLED"! what`cha fellas think?
I have Been a Fan Of Killer Instinct Sense it was Born & came out on super nintendo in 1996 it be awesome if the playstation Company Or Midway release the video game on playstation 4 like MK 11. For the future I would like to see killer instinct on the shelf just like the MK saga. Looking forward to see this game on playstation 4.
