You, Mick Gordon, have given us my personal favorite video game soundtrack of ALL time. Yes, that includes the likes of the Halo series, Mass Effect, Gears of War, Madworld & Anarchy Reigns (which previously held the title) and many other games. I even love your work on this more than the original two Killer Instinct games. The characters whose themes I especially love are Maya, Kan-Ra, Thunder, Spinal and ORCHID. I've listened to Orchid's theme well over 100 times since the game's release. You're the man. Keep bringing us killer themes, please.

Thanks for uploading this! What a wonderful feeling in must be working on something you love so much! I think that comes through in every track you do! I wish there were a whole documentary on sound and music work in KI. That detail with TJ Combo blew me away and it's fun to learn about how all these different sounds are created. Makes me appreciate WHY the sound tests were part of game options back in the day.

I'm so glad that they decided to put so much thought into the remake of KI. It was one of my favorite games growing up and I still listen to the original soundtracks to this day. And I am so impressed with the updated versions and love that you included nods to the originals in almost every song! Thank you!

Kind of surprised Aganos was cut from this, he seems to have a lot of interesting things. Like, I heard you had to get a lot of peope for the lyrics to his theme. Plus I wanna know what sounds they used for his attack. But overall, an interesting inside! Its an amazing game with an amazing history on awesome music, crunchy sound effects, spectacular characters and so on!

Hinnamatoom, Inferno and The Village of Whispers are my favorite songs. Mick really made such an excellent work with those songs

This is why I love Killer Instinct over other fighters. There is actually tons of passion shoved into every inch of it, and it's not just an updated reskin of the previous game. Sure there may only be a couple games, but the amount of quality is so high above the others. Sure Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat may have their strengths, but in the end, it really ends up being a glorified version of the game before. KI still feels fun, and getting those Ultra Combos is too satisfying for words.

Playing my Killer Instinct all the time since the first one remember it as a kid in the arcade, its my #1 favorite fighting game and the music cant stop listening to it ^_^

The absolute best spectator fighting game ever made.

Loved the video, though I would have loved to hear about the human bone-flute used for Spinal's theme, or the trip to the Native American reservation for Thunder's. I love how much personality comes through the music, and it's thanks to the efforts of everyone on the sound team for trying to get creative. Really well-done.

There is this sound they coulda used, if they heard it they would've loved it. when you melt plastic and let it drip on fire, the flame makes a wooooopp sound, it has its own sick sound effects mixed into the woop sound also like fire in wind and some other sound like water quenching a fire. It woulda been a nice add.

Whoever disliked this video doesn't know what dedication, hardwork, respect and passion are. And they are failures as human beings. This is what people who love their jobs do with passion for others, with a game that impacted us deeply a long time ago. And for them to be this dedicated to bring us the best soundtracks and effects for a game like this, they will always have my utmost respect. And people can be like : "Yeah but we don't like this game / character / whatever." Listen well : There are times when you can not like something, but there is something you must have : respect for the work others do, and respect for the efforts and time spent on that. And therefore, this video *cannot* be disliked. This might feel like a tantrum, but hey, only a few did that, and I know there are a lot of awesome fellas like me out there who just love seeing so much dedication and love.

That's amazing. i'm trying to do the same vocals but my voice sounds terrible. LOL I would love to see more of this, And how you make the spinal sounds , fulgore sounds. Etc , etc. or some footage.!
