it wasn't just the animation, it was the coloring and lighting of everything in this episode, it reminds me of episode 1033. it feels stylized and I'm here for it.

Great episode to come back to after 3 weeks! The composition and usage of color were amazing (seeing Koyama here was such a pleasant surprise). The animation was also very good throughout the episode, with mentioned highlights taking the crown 👑 Thanks for the breakdown. Awesome as always 👌

Nakashima may have been the only credited storyboard artist this episode, but you can definitely tell that BOTH Tokuno and Koyama heavily corrected Nakashima’s efforts and basically made the episode all theirs, so Koyama and Tokuno, I kneel to you both 🧎‍♂️

It is the Directors Choice what get Censored in the Anime Episode? ^^ just feels weird that Cutting of limps or Heads are complete fine for Toei, but When Kiku got impaled by Kanjuros Sword it was censored.
