SS Chara takes knowing what your moves do to use her, Killer sans requires that and strategy and the ability to mindgame with save and load such as using a save to use 2 goop blasters at once or placing charas in deadly situations or placing yourself in safe situations as a escape. Chara memories system does make for some interesting combos tho such as toriel and sans.
Although Killer is a PAIN to grind Exp for, I mean SS is too don't get me wrong but without the Save and load Killer is just really bad when at least SS can get a kill or two before dying.
I mained SS Chara when I still played and I can stay you defiantly were not using their moves to the best of their potential, Phase 1 is a lot better then people give it credit for, you just gotta know how to use it, I would even say its better then phase 2 for actually hitting your enemy, phase 2 doesn't give you a lot of control over where your hit boxes actually are, so good players can dodge most of the attacks provided they know how to dodge, leading to endings like that where you gotta spam Chao blasters
had a look at his vid and we are very similar with out vids but he uses gameplay alot more then i do and i type alot more were basically opposites with out approach to vids

id say ss chara is better in both phases comboing memories can destroy the enemy charas and the phase 1 is long and phase 2 is just spam every move for free win
Phase 2 of SSc is terrible, low hp, no defensive moves, and small map attacks. Meanwhile killers move set is very versatile with high damage and he can use load to basically force damage
