I really like wee davie ..way talks about he wanted add teams league and he seems have vision that sfa should be tapping into ..and he sells the league well when discussing that we sell our selfs short in this country cause he is right amount players came up here failed cause its difficult league its just needing marketed and sold to sponsors in better n bigger way imo . But its really refreshing listening davie and his ideas n thoughts on game structure and were league might be failing the younger players with not getting chance in league cause crazy pressure of half league fighting relegation at end of season so young boys cant get introduced to team and bedded in for next season maybe .. I totally believe wee davie would be big asset to SFA but there probably to snobby or egotistical to actually go him and pick his thoughts n ideas to implement them in league
To be fair it probably is the worst of the top 4 Leagues now, the bottom half of Serie A is like English Championship standard, full of big duds who are mediocre on the ball or old and slow. The bottom half English, German and Spanish teams are overall higher quality.

I thought the Murphy was interview was great but know what you mean it was kind of like Open goal pre watershed😂. And like that listened to Charlie Mulgrew on Undr the cosh recently and thought he was wasted they barely got a laugh out of him compared to on open goal, ditto Ross McCormack undr the cosh vs open goal he was much more relaxed and funny on Open goal.
There’s a place for plenty of different viewers and guests. You’ve got to understand that patter doesn’t really exist outside of the West of Scotland and a few exclusive parts of Edinburgh, Dundee, and Fife. It’s good to get people on who’ve experienced the elite level. Just because they don’t get the jokes abouts Slaney’s Da’s bag which have only been repeated in the treble figures, doesn’t make it less enjoyable.

Their story about Livingston beating Celtic and Hamilton being at Ibrox is filled with so many mistakes it's untrue. The game Martindale said 1-0 when Shinnie scored Rangers drew 1-1 with Motherwell it's the time Livingston beat Celtic 2-0 when Christie was sent off that Rangers played Hamilton to go top and won 5-0 Rice then gets this confused with the 8-0 that was a year later in 2020!
Think it’s poor to dismiss Kev as quickly. He carried the show for a couple months in the spring when he was on fire. At least let the listeners/ viewers know what the plan is going forward
Scottish football has gone totally stale now. If you think about it, for decades now teams generally just stay where they are by and large. Rangers and Celtic always the top 2 for 40 years if you take out Rangers rebuilding from 2012. Hearts been relegated a couple of times but generally speaking them, Aberdeen and Hibs are usually top 5. It's mainly the same teams in the Premiership over time, same teams always in the Championship. At least in England you've had teams like Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford etc who've came from 3rd tier regulars to established PL clubs or teams like Bolton, Blackburn or Portsmouth always in the PL to struggling for years.

Hibs were out of the league for 2/3, utd were the same. Kille have played twice in Europe recently. St mirren this season have played in Europe, yes both teams poorly but the top 6 is varied every year
@@YYYcafe My point is these clubs never drift away from their natural position for a sustained period of time. There's no clubs that grow or better themselves to shake up the order like in other countries like Aston Villa, Atalanta, Sociedad, Brest, Leverkusen etc. In Scotland basically everyone stays where they are for decades.

If we gave in to hearts during covid by "extending the league" then all that would do is deny who was 3rd in the championship at the time a chance of promotion. It was totally self serving, hearts feeling like they didnt have the chance to fight relegation and then pushing that down to the 3rd place championship team was scandalous
