Suggestion for future challenges: If you are going to give food like you provided swordfish this time, only give half an inventory instead of a full inventory. By only giving 14 food, it allows things like lobster drops, gear switches, and potions to all be straight upgrades (up to 14 items) rather than having to choose between to loot you got during the challenge and what was provided to you

I'm at the point where the "then we fight" series is the only content I'm excited to see in my feed. Thanks for the escapism.

Clue scrolls should be useable on a vanilla challenge like this.

The V's shield was changed a little while back to be better than the mirror shield. It indeed made no sense it was worse.

Remember that challenge you did where you weren’t allowed to walk west? You should do that challenge again but this time you start from the southernmost point of the Kharidian Desert and you aren’t allowed to walk south. Every square you walk south, you lose 1 inventory space in the final fight.

regarding the comment on dark beast slayer tasks, they're actually part of the optimal slayer xp path, and were used in the max cape speedrun. They're so short that they're ideal for increasing points to get to better tasks.

Clue scrolls should absolutely be allowed. It's a drop. you both are able to do almost all clue scrolls.

Dark beasts are an insanely fast task, with a superiors chance and are full afk, basically you always do it. Granted its the wrong location to do them but it could be a konar task.

Challenges like these should allow the use of coins qt the warriors guild shop. Being able to buy mid tier food would make the fights more intense

Rune essence shouldn’t give you free reign to any alter. I think getting both essence and talisman/tiara should allow you to craft runes

47:55 that's invisible vengeance, if you activate vengeance the same tick as the start of an attack it will not show the red skull ( only works with certain weapons )

Idea to spice up the food. During the challenge you start with the best food possible and any food drops you get during it you would have to swap out for. To bad you didnt get the crossbow string drop or willow seed drop from smoke devils.

How about a challenge where you guys get 3 hours to prepare whatever you want but if the other guy brings the same thing neither of you can use it. So you prepare what you want to use and maybe try to guess what the other wants to undermine their strategy. It'll also provide some uniqueness because you can't just pick any old thing. If you both take the best food item then nobody gets food. But if one goes sharksand the other lobsters then you both get food.

So the brine rats dropped meat.. that can be turned into Sinew into crossbow string. Link could've finished the crossbow 😂

Can Rargh just not lock in the rune full helm already before these challenges?

Rip Link not only on the sinew, but also that Smoke Devils drop crossbow strings so he could have put his 5 kills into them, except for the fact that they require a task and therefore were off limits. Guy stays unlucky.

To be honest I feel like these types of challenges when it comes to monster drops, always favor melee. Which takes the whole aspect of not knowing which style the other person is going to get out. If you get a drop like chaos/death and then get a drop of water you should be given a set amount of casted runes to fight with if you choose magic. Similarly like how link got a crossbow AND bolts. Thats very unlikely so you should then be able to use the crossbow in the final fight. Melee is always going to be the 80% pick regardless of what you get due to the resources of other styles being so hard to accumulate. You should think about a way to incorporate the other drops in a way that makes it viable to show up at the end with.

They should’ve allowed the clue scroll just for the lols

I have 4 accounts with over level 80 slayer and ive never even heard of a molanisk and didnt know the slayer bell existed.

So many comments saying Clues should be usable, but imo clues ruin these challenges because they'll almost always have better items than monsters would drop, therefor it just becomes a clue fight

So my idea is you get 20d dice on net and roll on every monster 15and above. You kill it whatever times on rules of challenge

Haven't been watching for too long, but are they allowing each other to wear Rings of Wealth during kills in order to eliminate nothing drops?

I mean i guess you guys made the rules before hand, but i feel feathers aren't a "tool". But that's just me. Tools are your hammers, chisels, etc., something that will process your item into another item. A feather makes an entirely different item. Obviously it had to have been agreed on before hand, but i just feel a feather is its own item. You could make the argument if a feather is a tool, then the secondary ingredient to a herb to make a potion is also a tool.

Can you unequip your weapon to trigger the vengeance so it doesn't hit as hard?.

Make magic viable. X10 on any rune drop you get in these challenges

My only complaint are it already comes down to RNG, can you please kill more than just 1 of each, same with the new bosses video, It would be nice to see a better spread of gear at the end and not bare bones from each. Anyways Love the videos!

I would've spent points to spend my 5 kills at alchemical hydra. In 5 kills the chance to get mystic staves, dragon weapons, or pots is kinda nuts. Maybe you guys didnt have points to hunt tasks but man i wouldve gladly burned 2k points lmao
