Killing Floor 2: Cyber Revolt Update Launches!
ROSWELL, Ga. -- Mar. 26, 2019 -- Tripwire Interactive will be releasing Cyber Revolt, the first major content update of 2019, later today for Killing Floor 2. To commemorate this first free update of 2019, Tripwire Interactive is running a free week on Steam for Killing Floor 2 starting at 10 a.m. PDT today, March 26, and ending 10 a.m. PDT April 1. This free week runs alongside a Steam sale for the Killing Floor, Rising Storm, and Red Orchestra franchises. They did it last year as well with bringing in D.A.R., various Cyberpunk cosmetics and the neon-coloured Endless-exclusive map DieSector.

Rose Supreme, Ahh I see. I tried the free trial for KF2 a couple years ago and then I got it free as a PS Plus title, but I only just started really jumping back into it last October. I play it a lot with a friend of mine and we just love it. Got it free so I threw some money at them to purchase a few skin packs like the D.A.R. bot and Badass Santa. There’s never a dull moment in this game and the Zed Time mechanic is soooo friggin cool. I’m nowhere close to max classes but my Survivalist is lvl 22 cause I figured I may as well max it out first because you only gain exp for actually playing it, while simultaneously building exp for other classes using their weapons.

Wish there was every single map with its own Zed themes, for example: carnival map with freaks and clowns. Some cool egypt themed map with mummy skin zeds and etc. Also wish PvP was alive.

Fire mechanics also changed so it priorities panic state instade of rage state. This also affect any kind of weapon who crossperks at firebug (mac-10, trenchgun etc)

Nice! While there isn't going to be as much content this year, the promised fixes and quality of life improvements will likely make up for them as they'll make things such as underpowered weapons and perks feel new and exciting to use. The Survivalist buffs are most certainly promising! :)

Puella Magi Homura Akemi, That’s what makes this game so awesome. I mean for a horde shooter where you pretty much just kill hordes of zombies, there’s over 50 guns, a variety of enemy types, 4 modes to play, 20+ maps to play on that are very unique and dynamic, and 4 bosses to take on. That’s not to mention that no matter how much I play, I never stop seeing badass Zed Time moments.

@@Panicthescaredycat i wasn't knocking the idea of a boss/double boss rush mode i actually would welcome something like that lol. But i can't even find any lobbies so i usually always solo play, and it sucks during the ending of events when there's double xp because even then i can't find any lobbies. I play on xbox so idk if the different console's have more active players I'm sure it's more lively on pc tho

Well.. The game is on other consoles, they have multiple dlc's and Ingame transactions and they also have other games... They've sold over 15 million copies of KF2 itself... Now think of KF1 before 2 was released.. They have plenty of money, and because the community of this game is actually very active, more and more new buyers come into their game.. It would be dumb of them to not provide updates anymore lol..

Now think about it... KF2 is $30 when not on sale... Multiply 30*15, now add six 0s to that number.. And that's ONLY on sales of KF2... That doesn't include Dlc's, Ingame transactions, and the minus on taxes or whatever fee they pay on their end.

Doom is probably Killing Floor 2's main inspiration. The gore, some similarities with the guns, and the zeds. The zeds sharing about the same enemy type ranks as Doom with the demons. So, I'd say that's probably why then.

Amazing! Btw, not sure if this is happening on PC, however, there is a volt crate duplication glitch out currently for this update. All you had to do is restart game, or just move stuff around in your gear on your characters, then vault crates will start duplicating. I still had the crates that we got for free at the start of the update, so I’m not sure if that is a requirement for the glitch but it seems to work regardless.

I don't know if it's the update or my game,but when I play and try to open my crates it takes a longer time,sometimes I can't open it,sometimes I get crates even though my vault isn't full. is anyone else experiencing this?
