It's sad but i think his stand up is almost more embarrassing than this. Tony promotes the most shitty people sometimes and i think he's too ego filled to come out and say something like "My bad about David Lucas, he really isn't that funny. Sorry". Tony gets on these fake laugh kicks for his regulars and but doesn't understand it's ok to tell them you had a good first set, but it's been downhill from there. Give them that small joke book and say try again next time
In all fairness he laughs at most jokes regardless of who they are from. He laughed at the guy behind the curtain - most people would've just acted weirded out/awkward
David Lucas is just another one of 5th rate "comedians" that Tony Hinchcliffe is trying to force down our throats. I like the KillTony show and its format, but it should just stay a "showacase/roast" show, NOT try to force mediocre comedians down our throats. Usually people who say “I don’t give af what people think” tend to care very much about their public perception they’re just trying to act like they’re a person that doesn’t care. It’s so common you think people would realize how easy it is to see through. People who really don’t care probably won’t even show up to interviews because they actually DON’T care. The fact that he’s even on this interview means that he’s actively working on his perception and trying to get exposure. There’s literally no other reason why a grown ass man would meet up with kid to talk. His words say he doesn’t care, but there he is sitting in a room with a young kid that’s trolling him on camera. You can’t tell me that man doesn’t care or else he wouldn’t be there trying to get exposure and stay relevant lol. He cares A LOT😂💯
Matan and Lucas are both playing eachother's energy, and what we see playout is a battle behind all the words. Lucas brings the energy and Matas deflects it by not showing any fear, and then pushing back in a strange way with fat photos and subtle body language. It's because of this unique style, and the two henchmen, all combined, rendered Matan unreadable by Lucas, and he was thown off few times, trying to gain back the control. Lucas does move into intimidation a few times, as that's the way of men, and I saw Matan play it almost like James Bond and roll it off and push it back in style. Matan doesn't ever flinch, and Lucas continues to up the game well enough, to attempt to break his character and code, and it just wasn't working like most people he probably knows. Its very entertaining to watch these two very different type of personalities come together in this background battle of sorts. *On Lucas though, after a few times watching him I now see his game, and it's next level. He makes one guy a fool, another a sexobject, and the host a rival in one conversation lead. Even the 'stank', is just another move toward dominating the whole room. Its rather fascinating to watch Lucas in this mode. Its clear that Matan was more like a rival to him.

Lucas is so fucking weak as comic, him being a “roaster” revolves around him calling Tony gay. That would have probably killed in the 80s and 90s but he isn’t closed to being funny, most of the Kill Tony circle are pretty whack. There is a handful of people who are actually funny in his close circle, Tony also makes the same jokes over and over “D Madness is blind” haha we get it he can’t see

He used his appearance on Rogan trolling him, exposing how he doesn’t get comedy. Most of the regulars on KT are jokes or mid at best. The only one I can say who actually has long last potential is Casey Rocket, that guy gets comedy he’s made his own path way. Everyone in the Rogan community is just hey let’s be edgy and I’ll be cool. Garbage. Be creative with your comedy don’t just sound like everyone else.
