@@Labergemusic People give Santino too much credit. He's one of the guys who has been alright in this podcast trend, but was never really a good standup. He's on a high horse and fell for the most basic satirical character ever lol
The dislikes were because they spent the whole time trying to make this teenager look bad. The dislikes were for how they treated Matan, not for Matan himself. This could’ve been a great episode but Andrew was genuinely a freak in my mind for how much he clearly disliked this teenager..
lol I love how you’re the spokesperson for every dislike. The whole “they were hard on the little teenager” is goofy too. Either hes old enough to go on or he’s not, but using he’s a “teenager” is weak af 😂

Nah I disliked because the teenager was boring and unfunny, and so was the Dax Flame episode. Two boring episodes in a row so I had to leave a dislike even though it used to be my favorite podcast. Their guests have been terrible lately and then the episodes without guests are actually good.
I didn't like this kid at first but I watched his podcast with Kurt Metzger and he is legitimately funny. It's obvious he's doing a character but for being like 17 he's really good already.
It took me a while to get it as well, but thats only cuz i never really watched his videos or anything. I was just kinda going off the clips everyone else was. Kid is funny bro
I seen a clip of him asking a girl to name 10 books and it was so stupid but she honestly gave out after naming Twilight and Game of Thrones so he did have a point lol
If you don’t think Bobby is a beta, then you must be completely unaware of the TigerBelly situation. The fact that he still helps Kalila and associates with her in anyway is the most soy boy thing anybody has ever done in life.
Yeah very strange it’s one thing to be annoyed with the kid but when he said “but you’re not making any money“ really made himself look like a little loser in my opinion
I may be wrong about this but I’ve listened to the episode about 100x because its so funny to me but he also acted like this towards Adam Ray when he was Dr.Phil . Felt like Andrew was hating on Adam because he was funnier than he was .

I didnt find Matan very funny at all... he seemed way too nervous and the energy was off... maybe he can be funnier but i think here it wasnt really that obvious. He needed A LOT of help with set up and the way he explained how his jokes made sense half way through the act outs on a very improv heavy show... very awkward. It just seemed like a kid trying maybe too hard
You can understand a schtick and think it's stupid as fuck to the point where now you're just irritated. These braindead 12 year old comments spamming this place up going "he couldn't even understand he was joking!" No shit he understood he was joking. Have you ever heard someone joke and then get irritated and not laughed or engaged because you think it's dumb af and cringe?

This "troll" is just like every other "troll" internet personality. 12 year olds think they're funny because they think trolling is witty no matter the context. If you're trolling, you are now automatically the funnier person. Very brain-boiled approach to comedy but obviously these are kids. I mean I doubt his demographics reach higher than the age of 15, that has to be where it maxes out and people hit 16 and realize there's no nuance to it.
@@JacaboBlancoyou need to get past the character. We always hate the villain before we know about his story then we empathize a bit more. He has done a semi serious interview with Jesse Lee Peterson, you can see how mature he actually is. These guys are pretending not to know what comedy is anymore because they have a personal issue with the kid, especially Andrew. That don’t mean the kid isn’t funny and smart
The difference between Bobbi and this kid is that the puppet masters who propped up Bobbi are the same people that hire Andrew for those movie roles he’s doing, he doesn’t want to disturb his masters favorites
Matan is naturally witty and is doing sophisticated - for his age - satire. Andrew is an angry ginger that says amusing things once in a while but can't channel his repressed rage into genuine funny like Burr can so is mostly just off putting. That's why it was awkward.
People are harsh. I really think he's funny and naturally talented and will be hilarious as he grows up. Most of these comedians couldn't make anyone laugh at 17
Matan was annoying me how we wouldn’t go along with the bits, but I’m kind of like Andrew. In my 40’s and bitter. So maybe it missed me. I’m just amazing Bobby likes Matan. Either way, I wish the kid the best of luck. He seemed to have some witty jokes here and there.

Yeah that Santino guy just didn't get the character or was jealous. Matan is hilarious once you get the offbeat comedy, it's so unorthodox it's refreshing. The kid is gonna get better and better as he ages into more adult content.

That’s not why it was funny. It’s funny because she’s the machine but isn’t a real true story and Burt tells it like it happens. The unspoken but obvious joke is everyone knows he lied and pretends it was real to pretend to be cooler than he is. And funnier than he is.
Is that it though? Or is that what you desperately NEED it to be? Like would it upend your life learning it was for the most part true? It seems like that’s the case.

I could never interview someone like that kid. I get his troll. It has made for some funny bits but a long conversation with this kid in character would kill me. Andrew could have loosened up a little for the pod tho.
They aren’t having the kid on for him to be serious, the whole point was for him to do his character and make a funny episode which I think the kid did a great job based on how hard Andrew was making it for him

Santino's ability to play along with Bobbi Altoff and unwillingness to play along with Matan is 100% about him trying to protect his standing in Hollywood. Matan didn't make the podcast bad. Santino made it insufferable

Matan just doing Bert’s whole fake cringe machine story and Bobby not realizing at all until the end😂 And fuck Andrew for not laughing once.. I don't even know who this Matan kid is and i laughed multiple times.. andrew must have just been having a bad day. Just imagine if he was how he normally is joking it up, teaming up with the guest going against bob lol. Just so weird. Plus your probs readin in too much about the Bert thing.. Bobby and Andrew are still good friends with Tom and Bert. You know its a common joke that the machine is fake and Berts only joke lol.
Honestly I had never listened to thier podcast in full before and saw a reel of this episode, and decided to watch it in full, found it so funny that I subscribed and now I've been listening to back episodes consistently
I think itd be funny for him to call you for alcohol is insane lmao I cant put my finger on why matan is so grating but he still made me laugh despite being vaguely annoying lol "its not believable at all but its true" had me dying lol

Bad Friends is so fucking funny because of Bobby and Santino’s wit and chemistry and if one has an off day the other can fully carry the show and make it entertaining. Week after week.
Part of me believes Bobby seriously didn't know the machine story. He even got caught lying about being lost on his way to the movie premiere so "he just went back home" lol
Bad Friends is a podcast that is comedy and a lot of improv. If a guest comes on and doesn't understand their show it's not going to work & ppl can get butt hurt.
