Joe Bailey That is false as hell. Firing with a larger trigger is always superior than having to use that little nub R1. Always set mine to R2.

R2 is a poor choise. I remember more than once playing some bland shooter on PS3, getting bored with a loooooooong cutscene, laying down the controller on my lap, then immediately uloading an entire clip into nothingness when the cutscene ended.

Yeah I thought that as well, I can understand using the triggers on Xbox but the PS3 has crap triggers so why you would use that is beyond me.

+MrX626 Same here. It seems a lot of PS3 shooters do that, the handful of PS2 shooters I've played do that, but they switched it up for some reason with PS4. I always thought it worked well on the 360 to use the triggers, but R2 just doesn't do it on PS.

+ShyBoy6ty9 I think the reason why xbox's triggers are better are mainly because they're pointed outward rather than inward. Alot of times when I would be pulling on the R2 button to shoot my finger just slips off because the lack of grip it doesn't ensure.

Mihai Cuzmov Eh, kind of, sort of. Vekta was colonized first, followed by the Planet Helghan. The Helghan Corporation bought the planet Vekta after a period of time and became the system government, who still answered to the UCN. What kicked off the First Extra Solar War was when the Helghan Corporation, now called the Helghan Administration, tried to secede from the UCN, the actual governing body of Earth and every colony. The Helghan troopers tried to remove the ISA, whom were and still are the colonial arm of UCN's army, but the ISA managed to retreat and conduct guerrilla warfare. When the combination of UCN's and ISA fleets arrived in-system, they turned the tables on them and forcibly broke up the Helghan Administration. Following the defeat, there were many terrorist attacks conducted by those loyal to the corporation, causing the new Vektan governor to start laying down the hammer. Wanting to get away from it all, several families bought colony ships and permanently moved to the colony of Helghan, and their decedents became the Helghast that we all know and love. Long story short: Corporation tries to secede its colonies, the government said "no", war broke out, the corporation lost and had to give up everything. Of course, this is the watered down version, for I'm not really willing to write the history in-depth.

MissingMandible There is also the fact that the Helghan planet's atmosphere was toxic and many of them died. And then the ISA blocked out their transport routes so they weren't even able to ship food and medical supplies anymore. But yeah, the whole story is really gray and kind of hard to really pick out a villain, as most wars are. This is one of the reasons I love the Killzone series so much.

Why take massive casualties assaulting a heavily fortified city for little more than a ceremonial gesture when one can surround and break up and remaining aggregations of Nazi power? Equating "Assault on Berlin" with "Destroying Nazi power" is thus fairly misguided. Both fronts had an opportunity to form up against Berlin; direct orders from Eisenhower prevented the western Allies from taking action against Berlin. Who took Berlin in the end had no real bearing on the splitting of Germany; by the time either front had an opportunity to begin operations there, both Russia and the western Allies had effectively solidified their control for the most part in their respective regions. You can also be fairly certain that Stalin would have demanded a similar concession towards the division of Germany no matter who had taken the city in the end. Not to say that either of our versions of history are entirely correct, given the fact that most of it is revisionist anyways.

SuperArppis Yeah, I rarely let a review decide if I play a game or not but after hearing that, I didn't even bother with KZ3. Honestly, I think the whole R3 issue was just a ploy to get us to use the PS Move. "Make it a pain in the ass to aim otherwise and they'll HAVE to buy it.

Well, no offence, but neither America, nor Great Britian could have won alone. Great Britian needed supplies, after all, even the best bastion does. America couldn't have as we were not close enough to act as a bastion. I belive Great Britian, America, Canada, Russia, and all the other Allied nations couldn't have done it alone. I, as an American, owe Russia, Canada, and more than most, I owe you, the people of England, Whales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland :)

As I said: America had supplies that helped Great Britian hold the line, same goes for the Soviet Union. No one nation could have done it alone.

Maz America joined WW2 in the first two years, started the American recolution, obviously fought the entirety of the Civil War, fought in Vietnam for 20 years, is still technically at war with North Korea just not actively, and has started countless "wars" in the middle east. The only war this is really accurate to is WW1

Grant Kunimura if your referring to ww2 it was the Russians that tore the soul and heart out of the german war machine not America and hitler knew he would need more military power if he were to invade the uk so the americans had to be attacked first before they joined the war by which point we had already won the battle of Britain and our air force and army was growing and we already had an organized home defence (dads army) by the time the allies were in berlin the Russians had already stormed hitlers bunker and he was dead so technically America only helped in the far east which the USSR had their sights set on

joshuawillway well, the Americans tore out the heart and soul with carpet bombing of our dear Fatherland so they ran out of new tanks and bullets to drop into the meat grinder the russian front became. As the german front bled out, the russians took on a blitz of their own. But the soviet contribution, the fact that without stalin's psychotic steel will the axis would have won the war, is usually grossly understated. 20 million russians died in the war, more than the entire axis.

Connor O'Brien dont forget lend lease where the soviets got vehicles that was important to move supplies and that without it some of their assualts and large scale attacks could might never have happened. also some of the soviet deaths might have come from order 227, Zhukovs way of clearing minefields by making soldiers walk over them and the generar way of just throwing soldiers away.

Connor O'Brien America might have the very nice expensive tech. But remmember when the Germans had the best tech and lost to the russians due to their numbers? 1.5 Million American troops, 2.3 million chinese troops. Not saying America is incompetant, but it wouldn't be the easiest task.
