Rodgers done walking away after he got Leicester bottom of the league and done terrible in Europe with both Celtic first time of asking and again with leicester and agan with Celtic 2nd time of asking and a 6/0 thrashing in madrd in there also ..When Rodgers walked away the timing of it half way thru an important season was terrible thing to do and at same time left Celtic with no manager in place when he walked ..He walked away an irish thing same as Keane walked away from rep of ireland at World cup when Jack Charlton done a top job for them ..But Rodgers walks when rangers were on the up via a good young manager in Steve Gerrard and we had rangers to play either was following game ot week after when Rodgers walked away and onwards for Leicester ..That man doesnt give a jot about Celtic but only Money is his no 1 thing as is with Desmond and Lawwell etc ..When u get older in life most people get wiser . But this league was won when Rangers were poor and Spl is easy to win whereas its in Europe most Celtic fans want to see progress as last 10 yrs have been attrocious in Europe and Rodgers has a terrible record in Europe so i wont hold my breath on him ..Actions speak louder than words ..Now thats something to hold onto but most young fans and silly older ones dont have the brain to know what Celtic board are always up to .,.Would not surprise me if they sold O'Riley and if receive 20m shall spend some that but what about 70m already in their bank and 60m for making champs league to become now ..Also season tickets always sold out renewed by young guys that know no better as board wont change at all as tightness leaves no bounds with that lot at the helm .Nothing outragious at all but Just is some facts .

@@jackjones1249 they would have just won the league with a full squad and no injuries. They have an enormous bloated squad and Pay 5Million more in wages .Celtic have to be much better next season and we shouldn't kid ourselves on, we got away with one this season.

@@ajsctech8249 Thats like saying celtic would have had the league wrapped up earlier if they never had key players out injured. As bad as celtic have been the fact remains they have better players and more quality through out their team. Both teams at full strength and celtic still win 7 or 8 times out of ten. Paying higher wages for inferior players means nothing and the proof was there in all the glasgow derbies, so not sure what you are basing your asumptions on.

@@jackjones1249 It an opinion that there front 3 of Sima Danilo and Cortes would have ran us much closer if not actually winning it. I dont understand what you are saying, I believe although we have a better 11 than Rangers they actually had a lot of depth in their 25 squad much of which was injured. My point is that we wont win the league next season unless we do a major ugrade and investment. This season was far too close for comfort and it we cant afford another season like that

@@ajsctech8249 It quite simple what i am saying. Celtic have the better players especailly in key areas and took 10 out of 12 points off rangers. Both teams had injuries which weakened them. You said on another page that Rangers would have won the league if it wasnt for their injuries and i am disagreeing with you. Not sure what part you dont understand tbh. If we strengthing in the right areas in the summer we will dominate the league again next season even if these great rangers players you mention are fit🤣.

Why settle for Idah when we can get Miovski.
