She sounds just like the record. After 40 years she can still deliver the goods. She is the real deal. When she recorded Betty Davis, the producer just hit the 'record' button and she sang. Absolutely no studio tricks involved. A wonderful talent.
Kim Carnes was the epitome of “cool” in the 80’s! And she’s still got it going on....even after all these years! She just has that “cool factor”, no matter what she does! She was beautiful back in the day and she is beautiful now! Kim Carnes, you “ROCK”!!! ❤️
its a shame she doesn't tour Britain. its the only song I know as soon as I heard when very young. it was like what a voice she's got. maybe I should see bonnie tyler the british version of kim carnes
Warren - I can fix you up with my granny if you want. She likes younger guys, but she wears depends undergarments, so you might have to change her diapers on the date.
I have always loved Kim Carnes' music. And she is a beautiful person. Thank you for pursuing music and giving your voice to the world for us all to be entertained. Much love. - Jim
somethings just get better with age. loads of people say older people cant sing like they used to. they are wrong. kim carnes is just one of loads of singers that sound exactly the same as they did over 30 years ago. im british and i love to see her. her husky voice made her the singer she is today.
I remember as a kid growing up in Trinidad and Tobago in the '80s, aspiring to be a vocalist, I used to eavesdrop on my neighbor's radio, we didn't have one of our own, and "Better Davis Eyes" was one of the songs that touched me, so every time I hear it, it's like I time travel into a happy innocent nostalgic place. Now I'm grown and a great vocalist myself, thank you, Kim Carnes. *hint* I see her sipping the tea, vocalists take note
I have 49 years and today I booked my day to hear My LPs Kim Carnes. In years 80 and 90 my life was watered by brilliant voice Kim Carnes and continues until today. At the time I studied and worked in São Paulo-Brazil and despite not having participated in a fan club, I always had Kim in my heart ... Kim, I wish you, your family and your friends be very happy! Are these little words of thanks because you made my life happier ... A big hug for all vocês! (Sorry, my English and poor and I I used Google translator to write this paragraph)
I love Kim Carnes. Voyeur was one of my favorite albums of all time, the soundtrack for that year it came out. Bette Davis' Goddaughter told me Bette Davis LOVED this song, but when she first heard it she said, "Oh that poor woman. That voice!"
Perfect performance and still got it going on and still love her voice just like back in the summer of 1980 when I first heard "More Love" originally done by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles back in the 1960s. Brings back great memories.
Hoje o que me resta é saudade.
Way to go Kim!!! You’re still sexy and rocking!!!! I am in love with you since 1981 when I heard Betty Davis Eyes for the 1st time on the radio! ❤❤❤❤ Forever loving you from Canada 🇨🇦

Always loved this song and the keyboard lick was so catchy..... used on a 7up pac man commercial. I remember seeing it as a child this is an amazing acoustic version.
H Straz a raspy voice like this cant get any better or worse. same goes for bonnie tyler her voice hasnt changed the late 70's. you dont get singers that sound like this very often
