COMMENT GUIDELINES 1. Respect the interviewee. My interviews take people to vulnerable places. Publishing them is an act of courage, no matter who they are. I will delete disrespectful comments. 2. Please share learnings, wonderings, and questions the interview brings up for you. 3. It is natural to question an interviewee’s type. I welcome the dialogue. But please “show your work” and ground your objections in theory and moments from the interview. Blanket statements like “This person didn’t actually say anything 7-ish” or “These guys clearly have no idea what an 8 looks like” are intellectually thin and add no value. In most cases, I will delete them. 4. When I publish an interview, I believe the person is the type I say. If my view changes, I will note it in the description. 5. If you wonder why I asked a particular question, ask. If your comment contains inaccurate assumptions about my motives, I may delete it. My goal is to facilitate high quality dialogue with real learning value. Thanks for helping the community by following these guidelines. Josh
