+Dimitri Marick Kim has been in movies, although I can't name the movies, I know she has been in them. Plus, Kim was one of the first African American actors to appear in a nationally syndicated sitcom with an all White cast. You'll never be able to take that from her. Kenya is not even an actress. The fact that Kenya even tried to sit up there and straight downplay Kim's achievements, as if her own roles were nothing more than mere one-line cameos back in the day, is hilarious. Kim is an icon in not only black Hollywood but all of Hollywood, in it's entirety. Kenya's immaturity and whole demeanor proved that Cynthia did the right thing, all along, by choosing to go with Kim with the commercial. So happy Kim got off of this show. It was so beneath her.

I personally think Kenya was jealous of Kim and her actual industry wrap sheet. Cause Even after facts of life (which is a classic) she went on to be Regine on living single and that’s a classic show as well that will live on for generations, and she was well over 12 during that time. And While Kim is not confrontational and unwilling to scrape the barrel for fan acceptance I really think her being on the show gave it some class and real talent. No one on the show can touch Kim’s wrap sheet or her family alone like her mom was penny on good times for god sakes and her sister had a long running role on moesha as well, so Tootie and Regine will forever live on while “Mrs. Bozack” and “Tomiko” and “Miss USA” will always be C characters no one will even remember unless you keep them recorded on the DVR.
