I personally can not relate to hoarding stuff from past relationships. I get rid of everything and even purchase new linen post-break up. Like a home cleanse - it’s my sanctuary so why would I want reminders in my face daily. Great memories stay in the mind. The last thing you need after a break up is to smell their cologne in a pillow or see a photo on the night stand. Maybe that’s just me 🤷‍♀️
