"Character driven" is a good way to describe Kim Possible. It never has the best stories, but it does have some great characters, and as long as you like them, you'll do fine.

I miss Kim Possible

After really hating yesterday's film, it's really cool to see Doug enjoy this. I love Kim Possible too esp. its theme song. I never knew what "What's the sitch?" meant until I realized sitch is slang for situation.

I liked the character of Kim Possible. She very level-headed, confident and strategic, yet still had all the typical insecurities and superficial traits of most high school girls. Yet she never came across of too snobby or too selfish.

Kim Possible is one of my childhood favorite shows, and so glad that NC/Doug really enjoyed this movie.

Are you going to watch the actual movie-- So the Drama-- too? Because while a Sitch in time is always aired like a movie, I think it was just the season 1 finale. So the Drama is the one on the list of Disney Chanel movies.

This review brought back nothing but happy memories. Kim Possible was a big part of my tween years. I was obsessed with this show. I knew every character, episode and special. Kim Possible was who I wanted to be when I went to high school. She was the first character I could draw from memory. My best friend in real life was just like Ron Stoppable. Blonde hair, goofy voice and everything. Ron made me curious about Mexican food and I've loved it ever since. As soon as I saw the title of the review all the scenes started playing out in my head almost exactly as they were edited and even now after watching it I've got like a highlights reel of all my favourite episodes flashing before my eyes. I'm singing the theme song as if I've been listening to it the whole week and can't get it out of my head. And the Naked Mole Rap. I can hear Dr Drakken shouting "You think you're all that, Kim Possible, but you're not!" or singing "Lather, Rinse, and Obey! It's time to wash your hair today." The tweebs are all "Hicka-bicka-boo?" and "Hoo-sha!" And don't even get me started on the Oh Boyz. I've now fully regressed to being a 12-year-old girl who doesn't realise she's having the same feelings about Shego the other girls in her class are starting to have about boys. And I'm loving it. SO MANY HAPPY TEARS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!

Want something even weirder, Doug? Kim Possible did a crossover episode with Lilo and Stitch: The Series. Not kidding. It was awesomely weird.

I always love the fact I am more or less as old as Doug, and when ever he like, I was growing out of cartoon and such, I was still into them and enjoying them, lol.

Doug, if you liked the movie, consider doing a review of the show as a whole. Kim Possible actually had some neat reocurring plot threads (Ron's phobias mostly) and problem of the week type episodes (more focused on Kim) during seasons 1-3. But Season 4 is different; Kim got a new outfit, the characters were adapting to graduating high school and what that means, and some of Kim's villains got season long story arcs that resulted in their series end status quo. Also, any episode with Ricardo Montalban is a treasure.

Since Disney acquired 20th Century Fox, I wonder if Doug Walker will cover the X-Men movies, and maybe Don Bluth's two movies with Fox (Anastasia and Titan AE) as part of Disneycember 2018.

I’ve spent part of my quarantine rewatching the entire KP series and it has not disappointed. One part spy/superhero movie parody + one part high school parody = Disney’s completely justified #1 animated show of all time (not just my op, but the viewership stats too)

you would like the episodes where Ron Stoppable becomes evil. I kid you not, he becomes a total badass and is legitimately powerful enough to take over the world with ease, but all he cares about is getting back at his cousin for throwing food at him at a family get-together :)

Ah Kim Possible. Literally my #1 favorite show of all time! The writing, the humor, the characters, it's just an all-around amazing cartoon.

Kim Possible is proof that good characters can completely make a story. Kim and Ron were such an interesting and funny foil, that whether they were saving the world or just dealing with high school drama, fans were completely entranced.

Kim Possible is top notch satire. The show poked fun at both the action genre and American high school in such clever ways.

I'm intrigued by the comparison to The Lego Movie considering that the end speech in that film made me tear up and that's what solidified it as my all time favorite movie.

If there's a Disney show I want to see revived, it's Kim Possible. I'd love to see what the characters are all up to later in life. If it ever does get considered for a reboot, I'd want it set later in their lives. Maybe Kim and Ron are married, have been out of the world saving business for a while, and have a kid or kids of their own who are now saving the world with Kim and Ron as mentors. I think there's a lot of possibilities. Disney, you're doing a good job with DuckTales, consider this next, please.

Kim Possible meant SO MUCH to me as a kid. I remember talking my mom into helping me piece together a costume so I could be her for Halloween one year, even. I loved her that much. I'm glad to hear you liked it too, Doug.

Kim Possible was the nuts when I was a kid. This show was always my favorite thing to watch whenever it was on, as it was for my brother and sister. Nowadays, now that it has concluded, I just like to remember it as a fun and funny memory. And this movie was among those memories.

It's not a surprise that this was my favorite cartoon when i was young... I was about 14 when it started, and the show just got more funny as i got older...

I my opinion the movie is more than "just funny". It has some real emotional scenes. Just the idea of Kim and Ron being so far apart and have trouble with maintain their friendship, broke my heart. But I was like 10 back there and a real huge fan of the show. I suppose that's the reason I was a bit more emotionally involved.

Kim Possible is one of the few Disney Channel shows that still holds up, not to mention its theme song, which will leave you singing/humming "Call me beep me if ya wanna reach me" until people start to get concerned about you. Believe me, I've been there.

ACTUAL LEE this movie is not part of the official Disney Channel Movie lineup, at least anymore. It was not in their official 100 DCOM listing last year. So the Drama is though, so that's good. I'm surprised Doug didn't take issue with the ending. Also, did you really just say The LEGO Movie no emotional weight?

Kim Possible, in general, is definitely one of the absolute best things Disney Channel has ever put out.

I am so happy that not only did Doug tackle something KP related, but that he has such glowing praise for it! All I can say to him is just wait until you get to So the Drama if you want a real big cohesive story with more weight behind it. And also, watch the rest of the series and do something with it! It's just as amazing as what you saw here.

The first Kim Possible one hour special event is excellent! It's about how Kim goes back to where she was a young girl who tries to save the world from bad guys.

I remember this show, I found it flipping through channels and got hooked, I was probable in my mid to late teens, but I watched every episode I could catch and both movies.

Title problem: it's "A Sitch In Time", because Kim's catchphrase was, "What's the sitch?"

Watch Kim Possible from start to finish, it's one of Disney's best animated series to date and stands up to the test of time really well. Also the So the Drama movie is the series finale in movie form so watching the whole series before that movie is a must.
