Especially the last bit with Jin, in the variety show. They kinda mention that Daegu, where both Suga and V are from, that's kinda the general vibe/ personality you see. Kinda savage. Very much a stereotype, it's not everyone lol, but you know we have stereotypes for ppl from different cities or states 😊 But yeah, Taehyung is hilarious bc he can be like this, but can also be so so sweet I had not seen that clip from bon voyage, with Namjoon and Hobi !!! 😮😅 And as others said, he does it a lot with Jimin Because of how close they are and how comfortable they are with each other, especially being born in the same year, it allows for more closeness sometimes.

The dead skin part was part of the show where the hosts asked them to speak dialect so V and Jin were doing a short situation play he didn’t really mean that lol And also there are sentences that can turn out real savage because of the translation, but a lot of these are just things we say between close friends especially the “reflect yourself” part. The straight face on him makes it feel more savage:)

This is a fan edited video, it can sometimes portrays a different scenario than what actually happened. For those who are not fully familiarise with the boys personalities, a wrong impression may be perceived due to these editing. Tae (V) is by no mean a mean person at all, I feel he is very pure and innocent, rather sensitive but care deeply for all his members. For your info: Hyung is a korean word which means "older brother", Which is usually used by younger males to address an elder male. So whenever you see a BTS member calling the other "hyung", it means he is younger.. Similarly the word "Oppa" is used by Females to address an older male...

When we say BTS is not a typical boy band/group, there are many reasons for that and one of those is their brotherhood/friendship. Their bond is really amazing. You will understand what I mean once you know them more. And Jimin and V are best friends who are friends since their high school days (more than 10 yrs of friendship). Every member of BTS have this different yet caring bond with each other and vmin (V and Jimin) are no exception. Their friendship is everything you can ask for. They diss each other alot but also have ultimate respect for each other. They are a successful band of more than 8 yrs and have their individual apartments but still all 7 of them shares one apartment like in their debut days (of course more spacious now). BTS friendship is top notch. And Jin is the oldest (1992 liner), Suga second oldest (1993). Jhope and RM are 1994 liners. Both Jimin and V are 95 liners. V is second youngest (1995) and Jungkook is the youngest(1997). 💜

Tae has the driest sense of humor which is right up mt alley. He does it with one line within a second as a reply to whatever someone says and with a completely straight face which always catches the rest off guard and they start cracking up. You should see his replies to fans on Weverse ( fan: taehyung marry me!…Taehyung: No. Fan: say something in English tae….Taehyung: abc) 😂. Some of his interview answers are hilarious ( Interviewer: What’s your favorite line from a song…Taehyung: oh na na na bow wow wow). But he is an absolute sweetheart and very protective of the other members. He’s the type to come after you if you say anything bad about his brothers. And he won’t tolerate fakeness. He’s very honest and no bullshit. He just loves to tease the members and him and jimin are actually super close.

If you only watch compilation videos on RU-vid, you will never really get the true personalities of each BTS members LOL! V's humor is dry, savage and effing funny. He is very HONEST. He will tell you not what you want to hear. Even on Weverse, his replies to fans are often SAVAGE. He is kind, very inspirational and supportive, but if you ask stupid questions, you WILL get a savage answer from V - and trust me, you DO NOT want that LOL!

They're very affectionate towards each other, they openly confess that they like each other the most in the group, and openly telling each other "you are my soulmate" multiple times everywhere. And they're around the same age too, that's why they feel so free to joke, tease or roast each other without being afraid of looking impolite, since age is a very important part of korean society. They even have a very beautiful song together called "friends", which was written by Jimin. The lyrics literally talk about their beautiful friendship and include their signature phrase, "you are my soulmate" in it. And now the song is picked as the OST of the latest Marvel movie. That's just so wholesome. VMIN is honestly one of the most beautiful, sincere and heartfelt friendship I've ever witnessed in my entire life. So there's some complex cultural nuance going on here. In the band, the age order is Jin > Suga > JHope > RM > Jimin > V > Jungkook. JHope and RM share a birth year, 1994. Jimin and V share a birth year, 1995. So they are "same age friends". In Korean culture, a same year friend is the closest kind of friend. They share all the same relevant experiences and you grow together doing all the same things. Suga spoke once about being a little sad he didn't have a same age friend, and Jin softly reminded him that although they don't share the same year, they are only 3 months apart. That's why Suga and Jin do things together like cook for the younger ones, or go fishing. Where it gets tricky is in how they each function not in the BTS family, but their actual families. Jin, Suga, JHope, and Jungkook are all the youngest in their families. The maknae, or baby, in a family is looked upon as cute and able to get away with a little bit more. RM, Jimin, and V are all oldest. For RM, it's a little awkward to be the leader and yet he's dead middle of the pack when it comes to age. But he's used to being a leader in his family, and the ones older than him aren't...so there wasn't a huge power struggle there. And then we get to Jimin and V.
