oooooooooooooh " you came " my favorite hit of all time , how come it was not a # 1 in the uk atleast , the 80's for me is all about this song which made me love english music and songs...the video was so ahead of its time...and she looks amazing....i wish the wilde days come back.
Marcel, you are the master! These videos are awesome. I'm a big Kim Wilde fan in the US, and I have really enjoyed seeing footage that I have never seen before, even in other videos on RU-vid and DailyMotion. Keep up the great work!
@bnewall1 I kept on playing "You Keep Me Hangin' On" thousands of times! I cannot get that song off my head! It's from the album "Another Step". Track #1! Also another song from the album "Say You Really Want Me" ranked higher in here. In the album "Love Moves" in 1990, Kim's voice sounded more mature. The song from "Love Moves" "I Can't Get Enough (Of Your Love)" is best! She filmed the music video "Time" in Italy. "World In Perfect Harmony" is good!
@sugarmommy79 I'm in California. Kim was kind of a 1-hit wonder in the US, with her remake of The Supremes' "You Keep Me Hangin' On". "Kids In America", which came out 7 years earlier, wasn't that big of a hit, although that was probably the only other song for which Kim was known in the US. Too bad, since she's such a great talent!
@sugarmommy79 Wow, a young fan! :) I'm 39 and was in junior high/high school when "You Keep Me Hangin' On" was #1. "You Came" is indeed a great song; too bad it didn't rank higher on the charts. Surprising, since the video was filmed while she was on the "Bad" tour with Michael Jackson
I remember the 1980s TV show Knight Rider where Michael Knight played the Kim Wilde music video "The Second Time". In America, we call the title another name. Also "You Came" ranked 41 in here but it wasn't that big of a hit. I like it anyway! It's such a shame that the most powerful and wealthy country on earth never heard of Kim! I am only 23 years old. I was borned the year where Kim's album "Close" was released! LOL!
Actually I downloaded them from this website called mp3lemon.org. All songs are free! I think you have Kim Wilde, Select, and Catch As Catch Can. Yeah, my friend from England introduced her by playing her CD called Close in his car and I enjoyed it very much! Fun to try new things. lol. The only people in America who heard of her are those people who travel to the East alot.
