I can remember buying the cd album, now and forever back in 1995. Initially I felt really disappointed as it wasn't the Kim Wilde I knew. After listening to it several times, ir really grew on me. Sadly, not the most popular period for Kim.
for me, her best album. The most cohesive, the most hit-laden and the best production. The 'soul' element had been bubbling under for ages. 'Say You Really Want Me', 'Hey Mister Heartache'....I mean, seemed a natural progression. Now & Forever has been spun more than any other KW album, in my home.
She tried diffrent styles but she always loved R&B... her recent album come out and play is back to her old roots of very good rock and pop.. gotta listen to it it is a real gem!
