Catchy and so sensitive in one piece, very relaxing and dreamful track. For me, the best way to refresh myself after tough day. The day without Her music is a wasted day :)

Indeed, Catch as Catch Can.

I so agree, especially on ALL her 80s work, apart from that 'Kids' bore which is just arbitrary at best.

@@maksphoto78 Underrated album gem full of singles and criminally ignored songs. They show up just how insipid 'Kids; can be. Imagine that on any album but the debut, where even there, it's not anything special.

Kim Wilde's music deserves more attention and appreciation. Thank you for the video. By the way, this song was not found in Amazon music.

Always agreed with those 2 sentiments, and other people need a lot LESS for the shite they issue.

I love the artwork of Teases and Dares, Kim reminds a anime like evangelion and this song sounds like a 80's anime too

Pity she doesn't. Her decisions are absurd, virtually all throughout her career, and that includes the ones she goes along with via label ones, and then not when they don't "pan out right".

I wonder what doesn't sound like 80s anime for types like you.

This is an edit. The full length one should be here, this is not the full song. Mind you, she puts edits on albums too ('Dancing In The Dark' anybody?).

I think this track deserves much better "reviews" and "public viewing/listening". First of all - thx MICHAEL for uploading this dream- & powerfull track (at the same time) and IN MY POINT of view it would`ve been a much better single choose than the edgy "Rage To Love": I played "LOvers on a beach" btw in the 12"_Inch- on my best-of-12"inch-radio show "POPCAFE MAXIMUS" - also the 12" version of "The Touch" - you may listen here: www.mixcloud.com/LuckyGuyHH/popcaf%C3%A8-maximus-the-fine-12-inch-radiomix-feat-rare-extended-versions-from-kim-wilde-others/

So do all her tracks, but your analysis makes no sense. It's not from "T&D", it can be a single alongside anything else. 'Rage To Love' isn't at fault, blame what was it's A-side and blame the Wildes and MCA, they make these stupid decisions always. Who cares what it's a B-side too, it's the fact it's stuck as one, like they ALL are, that's criminal. Unless you're one of those overrated pointless acts that's shite, no one is going to spin your B-side enough TO make everyone aware of how wonderful it is, BUT they would if you had the brains to do a double-A now and again-hell George Michael, c*ntdonna and loads of others do this LAL THE EFFING 'TIME', while other people like Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac, Beatles etc. get so lucky with their management that they get album tracks released as singles LONG after the album they were gone has faded. We're talking DECADES later here! Nothing wrong with 'Rage To Love' as a single, aside from the fact they make the same mistake they always do, ruining it for single release, when it's perfect on the album. 'Shangri-La' should have double-A with 'The Touch'-it would showcase Kim's writing to the single market as introduction, and there were loads of single choices from this album, just like the even more criminally ignored album beforehand. But if you think this is criminal-you're right-it's worse with "Catch"-no sooner does she release the album, she jumps label so that kills its run of singles should it ever have one, and she acts like it doesn't get made, and Greatest Song In The Word Ever 9if one song could ever have such a title) 'House Of Salome' is just left to drift into nothing, despite the fact its individual genius in every second embarrasses the like of 'Kids In America' all over! And look at what's left on the album or as B-side-'Can You Hear It', 'Sing It Out For Love', 'Dream Sequence', 'Shoot To Disable'. 'Stay Awhile' was supposed to be 4th single-she was already working on the "T&D" album buy then! What a bloody awful mess, and she hates that last RAK album to this day because of it, how absurd. When fickle people turn to other shite and DJs and labels don't support and make mistakes, you blame THEM Kim, not your material. Don't be so blonde! But to do it at the time is one thing but to STILL do it 40plus years on! Oh dear! Even with "Select", RAK ruined it all-as soon as the album comes out, no more singles issued, who DOES that-and to a new act too? Especially when 'Words Fell Down', 'Action City' and the like are rearing to come off. Sure 'Ego' and 'Take Me Tonight' slipped to one country-big deal! Forgotten about anyway. And at least 'Lovers On A Beach' was issued-though the proper length one should be here, NOT the edit. We only found out in 2020 that 2 songs-'Rain On' and 'Sail On' from 1983 weren't even given out as B-sides?! THEY should have been singles, never mind hidden away. What was the point of making them then?! I would add that 'Lovers On A Beach' isn't the only B-side should've been a single-they all should. Even the 90s ones, which are better than the 90s album stuff often, and several of them not even issued but stuck as demos. Awful decisions all over.

I can-she's done that right from the start! Her and her brother and her labels have a perfect marriage in hell, they've no clue about the quality of their stuff, they never double-A anything if it's not a pointless cover, and the only 'time' they did was with 'Boys'-the LAST track you make a single out of all those 80s B-sides anyway, but to make matters even worse, as they always manage it, they then pretend or actually forget it was decided that way and it's been listed in all her related info, web site info and compilation AS a B-side, even though it's classed on the 45 COVER as a D/A. Hell the B-sides always get listed on the back! God the Wildes are maddening. You think this is bad (it so is). Look how 'You Keep Me Hangin' On' allowed to take attention of the utterly gorgeous one-of-a-kind ballad 'Loving You' and then there's 'Never Felt So Alive'-utterly trashed as a killer single possible because both easy Bee Gees cover and cheesy basic 'In my Life' deemed more "sensible" for the market. And don't even get me started on how much stronger and better 'Virtual World' is over it's A-side and 'Time To Live Your Life' over that "hug the babies" 'World Imperfect Harmony'! and virtually all of that 1990 album bar 'Storm In Our Hearts' and 'Can't Get Enough' which are its equals thank God. Though I will add that absolutely ANY B-side or non-album single-and album track in the 80s, and often after, is better than the bloody overrated 'Kids' bore that started her off!

@@kyachdistent1301 You are totally right. And I agree, some B-sides should have been A-sides. Loving You is wonderful and so is Time To Live Your Life which should have replaced World In Perfect Harmony. My favourite B-side is Birthday Song. I played it to many people and eveyone said: "This is great, why don't I know it?". Because it was hidden away as a B-side of the Belinda Carlisle-wannabe "Love Is Holy". For me, "Take Me Tonight" was the firs B-side that I liked better than the A-side. Can You Hear It was much better than Love Blonde. And I couldn't agree more on Never Felt So Alive.

@@oliverwittofficial4997 To be honest, Kim's my best act of all, and I've always felt virtually everything is a single. In fact, ironically, the only one that really bothers me as a single choice is that bloody 'Brats in the US' as wretchedly arbitrary and curiously lacking in power and even a sensible hook-filled chorus, which is one of Kim's signature things. 'Tuning In Tuning On' so outdoes it as a B-side, but then so would 'Boys', 'Young Heroes' and 'Lucky Guy' as these would likely pass as her 'weakest' 80s offerings, making them still far far stronger than most acts with their best stuff. I have fave B-sides/non-album stuff for each decade, as I have faves on all albums, the strongest albums, which tend to be the deliberately less feted ones-i.e. most of them ("Select", "Catch", "Teases", "Another Step", "80s Unalbumed Stuff", "90s Unalbumed Stuff", "Come Out And Play", "Here Come The Aliens" have about 3 or 4 faves on at the most (two 1st faves and 2nd faves or two faves and one 2nd fave or the other way round depending on album strength compared with each. With the non-albumed 80s stuff my faves are: 'Putty In Your Hands', 'Turn It On' & 'Loving You' all joint 1st faves. ''Rain On' (whose place 'Back Seat Driver' kept warm for 25yrs!), 'Lovers On A Beach' & 'Hold Back'-all joint 2nds. Fave 90s Unalbumed tracks: 'Birthday Song & 'Never Felt So Alive'-joint 1st faves. 2nd fave: 'Virtual World' (proper length, I don't do edits). Can't even stand them on albums if they sound it! 2000s fave non-album stuff: 1st fave: 'All About Me'....2nd fave: 'Run To You'. (Hardly anything made then). 2010s-2020s non-album stuff so far: 'Snakes & Ladders' & 'Carry Me Home' joint 1st faves (but former had to be extended by a clever YT uploader who added a perfect club beat that the creaky original tempo needed!). 2nd fave: 'Party On The Brink'.

@@oliverwittofficial4997 Kim just shocked me early on, even more than ABBA, who I grew up with when with each subsequent album and B-side and single I found, I just thought, Jesus, everything this girl does is great, and the vast majority of it is hugely underrated, even by her herself, which you can tell as for decades of live shows, she barely scratches the surface of her great career, merely content to lazily and boringly bang off the same old 8 songs, just adding 100s of pointless covers, often for whatever pop star has fallen off their perch recently, and come December, all the icky Xmas stuff comes out. It's like she's just 2 different people, the women who records these awesome songs, especially all the 80s ones when music had its only great decade ever, is entirely different from the one who we all know. Even though her voice is present on the songs, it's almost like it's a twin Kim and the one we know is he one who hates and disregards all but 10% of her stuff. I LOVE what you did with 'Birthday Song'-I LOVE anyone that promotes like hell ANY non-Kids Kim song to people, I make that my mission too. I introduced a friend on here to her unassailable "Catch As Catch Can" LP and when I mentioned that 'House Of Salome' in a normal world would STOP the world in its tracks, he got it! I think you're being a bit unfair to 'Love Is Holy'. After the rather staid "Love Moves"-in a worryingly desperate yet easy listening crash-bang attempt at a "Close" 2 (each 1990 song can be compared to one of the 1988 songs I find, usually to the 1990's material's detriment), they reached outside for a new injection of help and as Rick Nowels is always writing for many generic US acts, why not for her? She puts her stamp on it, and it's not like Bel ever had this song, it was lying around for a year in his offices when Kim found it and exclaimed she "she couldn't believe it was gathering dust" ( she should talk with the like of 'Rain On', 'Time To Live Your Life', 'That's The Mood I'm In' & 'World Through Your Eyes' and the rest!), and R Nowels said to her: "Why, do you think we should do it?" and she jumped in the air and said 'Hell yeah!' Ha! Please, it's the "Bel's missed out on this song", is anything 'Time's' been called a Bel singalong song, but I'd go further downhill and say it shudders HORRIBLY towards S/A/W hell, and 'You Came' is not exactly a 'Million Miles Away' (see what I did there?) from it. Kim era 1981-1986 would never be described as being universes near that S/A/W machine, nor that slagdonna hag. "Love Is" album brought a beautiful complexity and organic and poetic lyrical and musical sound to the 1st album she did almost completely full of love songs, but complex ones, the ones that the best women should be doing, now all that multi-faceted synth-sound and multi-ranged storylines of the 80s had now disappeared as the boring soul/naff grunge and heavily pre-packaged supermarket bull and c/rap of the 90s had replaced it. 'Love Is Holy' is the only thing that sounds Belinda-ish, which it would, same writers, but still, why not? It's a good song, and unlike the album beforehand, which was her 1st to ever portray near-weak single choices, not there was much choice, especially when 2 of the best 1990 songs she did didn't even get on the album, 1 of them not even being released at all, except a lucky stream to YT in a speeded up version.
