@Rbo SMF This song made me buy CherryPop's CD release including non-album bonus tracks and special extended versions which aren't available on normal mp3 Spotify playlist. It's hard to produce a well-arranged extended version and not to overdose or exaggerate the original record. Honestly, it's not an extended version, it's just a 12" edition (according to labels on 2010 reissue). It's a masterpiece in every dimension, top of the tops from her music portfolio. Thanks to this yt upload, I found this badass '83 poster featured here and chose it as one of pics for autograph request I made recently.
I was born and raised in New York and I remember seeing the 12'' for The Second Time and wondered who she was and bought it and fell in love with it and with her! Initially captivated by the cover and ultimately by this song!
An adventure through sound.Had the 7 inch of it 'The Second Time" was b side. But never tha astonishing extented version.A fabulous track.Should have been in the TAD album!
Hey, I fully understand you. So I searched several times in google for this picture but I haven't found it yet again. There is some branding on the top left of the picture. Maybe from a magazine. Let's hope that we find it to be able to print it and make the poster finally. And I wish you and all of the people who like Kim Wilde a great and sucessfull new year 2018!
The remix of 'Sparks' you are referring to was never an official remix. It wasn't commissioned by Kim's then record company. It was done by a DJ for the Disconet series of records which were manufactured for disco/club play. For Cherry Pop to put this on the album re-issue, if they could locate the original tape, it would be the same as if they just picked a random home-made remix from RU-vid to put on.
