Kimber and Stormer - I'm Okay (DvF Extended) 

I feel bad for all these comments from years ago who thought the Jem movie would do this any justice.

This is my #1 favorite song from jem and the holograms. I don't know why, but this song just seems to be one of the things that helps me feel okay when I've either had a bad day or if I just feel sad. I this it's songs like this that really helps us "make it through the day," as the lyrics say.😊

Interesting how both Kimber and Stormer, who respectively have higher-pitched voices than Jem and Pizzaz while talking, suddenly sound deeper than them when singing. And how they also sound the same while singing.... I think I just realized a major problem with having two voice actresses for every major character

This song really hits home when you think about people who struggle with their mental health just to get through the day.

I agree. It seems like a song that Stormer would write and the music just screams Kimber. In my mind, that's how it was done. :)

For a 80's cartoon they have pretty defined and complex personalities isn't ?

Always a favourite, though I always wish they had changed it around so that Stormer had written the lyrics and Kimber the music, because the lyrics seem much more suited to Stormers chronic self image problems.

Their friendship they form in this episode has been played into a Jem and the Holograms Fan Fiction I am writing. 15 years after Ba Nee leaves, it is told to us by Jerrica (who is narrating the story) that Kimber married Stormer's brother Craig. Stormer (now called Mary) was her bridesmaid at the wedding. The actual story revolves around the fact that it is 2003, and Ba Nee is now 24, single, and pregnant. She turns to Jerrica for help because Ba Nee's father has passed away.
