I wonder if there's anyone else you can relate: So when I was in high school and started getting into music and decided what I liked and what I didn't like... I listened to Classic rock and that was pretty much it; mainly because that was for whatever reason, the fad at my particular high school. Everyone said Classic rock was the only good music and everything else sucked; especially modern music. So for a long time I didn't listen to anything else; especially any kind of pop. Now I looked back and realize how foolish this was I missed out on a lot of good stuff I'm only getting to know now. Sure there is a lot of "garbage" music (both today and in times past) but all music of (insert genre here) is not necessarily bad for any reason. It is certainty true there are elements of the music industry which have gone down hill in recent years for various reasons; but there is still plenty of excellent music out there! This is really good. The melodies are catchy and interesting (and sophisticated, if I don't sound to prosaic using that word), and her voice is of course incredible!

nice catch. ...and not only does she inhale to the beat, but if you listen closely it sounds like at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="155">2:35</a> she actually takes a double inhale on the beat. NEVER heard a vocalist do that before that I can think of. This girl just continues to impress.
Just noticed another Kimbra example of living in the moment/in the music...at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="153">2:33</a> and <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="157">2:37</a> she inhales to the beat..almost without trying, I think. She's so cool...
Okay, now look.....I have one talent and one talent only. I can also walk and chew gum at the same time. With that said I thought I was doing something. Apparently, not. :-/ All due respect to this woman. Holy cow!
