The chef was not into the psychoactive properties of the weed. He was more concerned about the weed affecting the flavor of the dish. I share similar sentiments as well.

I love how they asked a Korean Chef to use cannabis with no experience with it. Not knowing, cannabis/weed itself is straight up illegal in S. Korea. Still it's interesting to see how sophisticated (to a degree), Chef Dueki does put his spin + flavor on it. Not bad.
This sounds fantastic. Love kimchi certain strains of cannabis flower have certain similar chemistry to certain foods. Afghan strain cannabis goes with celery for example . Try making udon noodles with some decarbed flower dust on top
There is nothing I want more in life than my own pantry like that.... Late to this, but it's awesome see chefs I look up to understand the versatility of cannabis outside of its recreational psychoactive component. There are a lot of flavor complexities in its different forms that doesn't necessarily exist to get you high, and chef Douki really seems interested in discovering those.
Sure would like to be a tastier of the pot, the pens, and the food. All looked and sound good to me. They had a really nice supply. Would need to try everything for sure. Was fun to watch. Great video
Bi bim bop has so many ingredients and aspects I'm surprised he didn't do a mini version. Could have done alot with the ingredients but being as he's not feminized with weed and the prep takes forever with all the kimchis I can see why he didn't. So not a knock to him. That jigae looked on point tho. I mean it all did but what a way to mix east and west.

That chef better not ever go to Korea. Koreans who smoke while in America can get drug tested while coming through customs and charged. Or they can use video evidence here.
