Comes in slightly diagonal to the right side, rolling almost slightly onto the painted line, so close to that grass, getting as wide of an entry as possible, at the very last moment of braking Kimi starts turning his steering wheel a tiny bit left, preparing that monster of a machine to flick left, he then commits fully into it and it looks like the car gets pushed away from the black and yellow sausage curb, a lot of bouncing, then that expert amount of hesitation before snapping back into the right-hander just laying down more and more momentum. The level of downforce these cars have in reality is pretty maddening. Great lap for sure.

My favourite driver since Schumi retired in 2006 and it started with me rooting for him in 2005 against Alonso since I always respected Sauber and the drivers coming out of Sauber in those days. He is a fascinating character in mould of the greats of yesteryear and he still is my favourite driver on the grid. :)

How can you not love Kimi. Others are just in it for the money and fame but Kimi is doing it mainly for his love for racing and that's why he deserves to win one more world championship before he quits.

Its interesting that Kimi's last two (likely to be his very last) came from the two of the oldest tracks in the calendar and races that have been there pretty much from the very beginning of F1, Monaco and Monza....the slowest and the fastest tracks in F1 :D
