+Joe Girth The skill is not fading anywhere no matter how long these drivers have been driving. You still need the same skill level (or better) when you started driving these or you have been driving a long time.. but sure its "less" challenging after long time than first time..
What!? The v8 was the worst sound ever in f1. V10s and v12s sound way better, even the new v6s sounds better, a bit low but they do bring back some of the turbo sounds from the 80s. Dont ever say the v8s sound good!

Just an opinion but I think Fernando is the best driver in formula 1 at the moment. I'm well aware that he is not leading the championship and only has 2 podiums this season so far but the reason for that isn't his lack of skill or determination, it's the car. Honestly Ferrari has a reputation for being a champion team but in recent years they've lost their edge and having a top quality driver like Fernando struggling to get on the podium let alone win a race is proof of that.

I do things out of spite The top 3 drivers are Alonso, Hamilton and Vettel. Saying that only Alonso is on top of these 2 others drivers is a mistake, not an opinion but a fact. Why is it fact and not opinion ? Because you cant know what would happen if Vettel was in the Ferrari of Alonso these last years and what Alonso would do in the Red Bull. Its not just putting his ass in a car and racing, F1 is more complicated than this... Alonso is one of the best as Hamilton and Vettel are... Hamilton proved it in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014 and this year... Vettel proved it in 2008 (First full season in F1 and just look what he was doing with this Toro Rosso), 2009, 2011, 2013 and this year. I m pretty sure you will disagree about Vettel, i m prepared to this but anyway, i know that saying "this driver is the best" is just a fantasy from some people, like saying Senna is greatest of all time or Schumacher... its wrong.

I wonder why he hasn't won a championship since 2006 (which he only won because of Schumacher's engine failure in Suzuka). Obviously there must be a huge conspiracy going on, because if not, this brilliant pilot would have won multiple championships since then.
GreenTheater I think you don't get what I was saying.I was being ironic, suggesting that there is a huge conspircy against Fernando Alonso. He hasn't won a championship in 8 years and the way he is hyped as some kind of driving god suggests that the only explanation is that there are higher powers preventing Alonso from winning.
