Africans as the interviewee stated are in the adolescent stage to understand about who LGBT+ are. They are human beings like anyone else and did not choose to be who they are. If the church is so faithful, those in the adult stage realised that LGBT+ if having the so called call, can be ordained. The Bible unfortunately was written by men who had very huge limitations and lots of biases and people limited to understand can naively take it as a word of God. Christianity is a European religion and it is high time Africans either go back to the religions of their ancestors or go Neo-Tech. Neo-Tech breeds Neo-thinkers who integrate reality with honesty.
Christianity is NOT a European religion. Infact, it's history is deeply African. The doctrines were developed in Egypt, Libya, Cyrene, Sudan(Cush) and Ethiopia in the 1st century AD. Europeans received it from Africa, spread it to America's and brought back a version that is inimical to our world view. That's why African theologians are busy developing an African Christianity, weaning us from dependence on a way we can't relate to. Secondly, LGBT+ IS A CHOICE and LIFESTYLE. No one's born gay. @@NjeruThandi after living in Europe now for twenty six years, have compelling evidence that Christianity was developed by the Romans during the time of Roman Empire and forced to its subjects. One of them was United Kingdom, which was part of that Empire. Having said that, religion and politics, which are twin sisters were a brainchild of a Greek philosopher called Plato, a student of Socrates and a teacher to Aristotle. In fact during his twilight years realised that his ideology had messed up masses and gravitated towards Aristotle’s ideology, that people can govern themselves without a need of an imaginary being, you call God. Regarding LGBT+ none of these people choose to be, they find themselves the way you found yourself to be who you are. Besides genetalia, human beings have other attributes that define their sexuality. No one fakes. I personally cannot have feelings for another man but people with the same pendulum I got have no feeling whatsoever for women. We say genetically were trapped by genetalia but were women. They feel attracted to men. Give them a woman and they would feel exactly how you would, had a man attempted to give you a kiss. They are human beings and no one has the right to condemn them. Remember the Bible that you may base your argument was just written by men who had huge limitations.
@@NjeruThandi leave the topic of sexuality to those concerned (gay) because you offend them when you say no one was born that way. You have little knowledge about sexuality, which is a huge spectrum. You seem to only know a man and a woman. What would you say about those with both organs? Or those men with female organs and yet they look like real men. Or even women with male pendulums. This is an area of humanity that if you explored, would despise that God you possibly use to lazily make your living.
