@ShinyBoy93 Deathwing encounters are the hardest of all raids in WoW - Both took longer and more attempts than any other encounter. Also - In their guild only the raid leader and maybe a few ranking members have access to voice in TS - Other members are muted.

@gamerunknown Ulduar wasn't a linear instance, so that makes no sense. Alone in the Darkness was worked on for +3 weeks.

@CailenxD Because other members are muted - And both DW encounters are very hard - They took more attempts and longer to kill than any other boss.

@AfricanMofoG The buffs you get from the aspect falls off over time and you might need that time warp for later when more DPS is required for the "claws".

Worth pointing out that Madness took longer to kill than Illidan and Dragon Soul Heroic took longer than Black Temple. Spine was the really difficult encounter though, with Kin racking up 130 more attempts than Paragon used on Heroic Lich King over the course of a week (a week being longer than it took for the top guilds to kill M'uru, Kil'Jaeden and Kel'Thuzad).

@nyk32377 From Ulduar's release to finishing One Light took 13 days, the same as from Heroic Dragon Soul's first kill to last kill. Of course, other hard modes took longer, like Mimiron and Algalon (limited attempts on Algalon though). Alone in the Darkness from Stars starting attempts took somewhat over a month, I forget specifics (with 1000 attempts). Going by length alone since I can't find sources for attempts at other bosses, that's similar to H Al'akir and A'lar.

Can someone explain to me how they got the kill with a little over 6 million life left to go? I understand there were DoT's on him and the Pally bubbeled to keep it going but.... 6 million life doesn't just disappear in an instant from DoT's
