I’ve been all around America and This is the best Chinese food in America hands down! I love the crispy gaugee, the minute chicken , cake noodle, and the ginger chicken and shrimp canton!!!
This was my Dad's favorite restaurant when we'd go to his property in Kahaluu. We'd cut flowers, take them to my mom's grave site at Hawaiian Memorial, and then go eat at Kin Wah. Same dish every time, Soft gaugee, wat mein, gai lan, with chicken or beef, gravy kin....So Ono.... My dad has since past, but my family still goes there every time we come home from Washington State. Mahalo for the great video. 🤙 Yes, the Chinese mustard is a must. Hard to find in the mainland.
Growing up in Kaneohe it was my family's go to Chinese-American restaurant on the windward side. I love their Boneless Minute Chicken Cake Noodle and Chinese Chiken Salad. Thanks for highlighting this restaurant, Misty.
Greetings, thank you for the content, I really appreciate it. I am from Chicago and our chop-suey is totally different the only thing that's similar is the beef and broccoli. My neighborhood restaurant was one of the best in the world! Yaki Main, shrimp in lobster sauce, egg drop soup, combination rice with shrimp, pork beef and chicken! Our Yaki main was not like what you get in China, it was literally a soup, with okay, I won't reveal the secret because I finally accidentally discovered the recipe and they didn't give it up and I'm not giving it up! And of course the Star of the show .. Egg Foo Young ..
My favorite Chinese restaurant!!! Good food at reasonable prices. Nice owners too. I usually get the weekday lunch special of Char Siu & Crispy Chicken. Their Chinese chicken salad is very good. I like their sweet sour mustard cabbage (w/ a meat) and lots of other dishes. All good. I usually skip the Special Plate A and B at all Chinese restaurants, though, even if it is a great deal there!
Sup MIsty! Was born and raised Kaneohe and pretty much tried every food place that was there for centuries 😂and yet u still never pick me up lol nah nah don't live that side anymore but miss it alot. Hope you're feeling better! I had that nagging dry cough for about 2 weeks that finally went away. So irraz! Take care girl!

I grew up eating there I would come to Honolulu as a kid. My brother lives right by waiahole poi factory right after the sharp turn before you hit the bridge on your way to Kualoa ranch ♥️

Aloha Misty!! My favorite place you've reviewed. I'm bias since it has nostalgia to me since my parents always ordered food from there when growing up. And just like someone else wrote here, the Chinese Chicken Salad is soo ono, and I love their Egg Foo Young and Gau Gee!🤙😊😋

@@FoodFiend there are plenty of of food options but you really gotta drive and know someone. Where I'm at in the Tri State area no good local places are open except for humdrum hot dogs, pizza, old people pathetic TEX MESS, overpriced hamburger joints with bad servers, and bar & grills....more like bar brawl.
If you’re ever going to do a cheap eats video, Nagoya Ramen in Mililani next to 24hr fitness has 9.99 breakfast and it is so bomb. They give so much food too! They also have a bakery. I’m writing this comment as I am breathing my plate lol love the videos as always!

I love them but they use MSG and my daughter can't have it. Their plate lunches have so many choices I find it hard to choose. I have a sinus infection that took my voice...lol. Damn vog. Looks like you're at Ho'omaluhia park. Great choice for view
Uncle Roger would not approve without MSG. Just kidding. Yes damn vog and a complication of a small cold. I either get bronchitis or a sinus infection after a cold. The vog doesn't help either.
