Natalie Merchant performing live at the Perkins School for the Blind Possibilities Gala on May 7, 2009 with The Perkins Secondary School Chorus, accompanied by Brian Maes on piano.
This woman is a highly-evolved human being. The world would be a better place if we all more like her. Although she's an entertainer she seems to live life on a high moral plane.
Yep,She is a role model in how to treat everybody around you...She is a very kind and generous person and she has a amazing voice...She is very talented and sings from her soul.
I have always loved natalie when i first saw her back in 1990 and to me she's like the older sister i never had. Thank you Natalie for always staying you
This is so beautiful!!!! It's so wonderful to see she is helping those with disabilities to let them know they can do anything a person with out disability can do.
Natalie Merchant is one of the best singer/songwritters of our time!! I was wondering if she had a grammy? If not, we need to buy her new album , and get her one.
Often I wonder what I’m actually doing and why-then I see these videos and it all comes flooding back to me in tears. It’s a great gift/perspective-the lives we have the privilege to touch each day. Thanks Natalie Merchant for your gifts and reminding all who worked with individuals with disabilities of the gift they give us when we take time to be present in the moment while working alongside them. All 3 videos you did at Perkins School for the Blind are incredible-true treasures. THANK YOU!!!
Having worked with PSB on graphics and logos while living in Boston, and "seeing" Natalie perform this song live many times, this is without a doubt the most meaningful and touching of all...

BEST CONCERT OF 2010 natalie @ orpheum/los angeles she really creates the most magical & moving music in contemporary pop especially live she's a master... this is a great video reminder of her many talents!
Natalie is such a kind, warm, compassionate and generous human being. She embodies many traits we can all aspire to as the most ideal human beings. The last time we met Dec. 11, 2014 in Munhall, Pa. she stood outside in the freezing cold for 4 minutes to sign my mementos including my Utah NAM4LYF and MAANIAC license plates. (she really got a kick out of those) That's us on the left shaking hands at our 1st meeting April 8, 1999 after I presented her with a bouquet of a dozen steel roses I welded for her. Nov. 21, 2000 I also got a photo of us sitting together atop the polished aluminum piano bench I TIG welded for her. Everything Natalie touches turns to gold. I adore this woman IMMENSELY.
Years ago when I lived in Boston, the design studio I worked for created new logos for Perkins. I can't find the woman I worked for to send this wonderful clip to. Maybe she'll find me...
