Blame your Dad awhile back for the doughnuts in the field to add that mud...was so good to see him doing that enjoying himself and scaring the daylights out of you.Take care folks love everything about the family. Great supply of straw bales there.

@Luffchild 7 месяцев назад
Jan Why not use the bale trailer to pick up 200 bales at the far end of the field? Then drop them at the gate near the loader. Then reload the bale trailer, use the loader to add 7 more. That way the loader is always close to the gate and you don't need to walk long distances. Perhaps one strap on the front prior to pushing the back bale would be more secure. Possibly one strap over the back bale would be a good idea for long distances.

Would reducing the number of bails on the top by one reduce the impact. If the bottom has 7 bails, only put 6 on top, offsetting them by 1/2 a bail.

Good thinking on adding the extra bales, definitely will help reduce the time loading up all that field. Keep an eye out on those tires and build up of dirt. Great video and have a great day 🤠.

2:25 'the only concern is the front and back bales' - you could strap those down, which you should probably do anyway for highway transport. I would also be concerned about increasing the weight on the tires/wheels/trailer by 50% as I wouldn't think it would be rated for that, but I don't know the specs on the trailer. Good luck!

Cool you did the two different things my suggestion would have been of bringing a load to the loader to use for the top row and also taking the top row off at the farm because water will go between the bales

I think Government issued Number plates are better as they would be Legal and the Police would Know it's Legal as it's issued by the Transport Ministry in Canada Number Plates issued by the Ministry of Transport in Canada is better as they issue REAL Number Plates as you can Tell a Real one from a fake one as the Real ones would have the Maple leaf attached in the Backround so when you tilt the Number Plate you'll see a range of Maple Leafs in the backround Jan just stick with the Government Issued Number Plates as they're Legal and they're also Better as well and they're Safer as well as the Police will Know whats fake and whats Real just by looking at it and having a feel of it then they'll Know if it's a genuine one or a fake one.

So 400 bales ÷ by 16 = 25 trips. 23 drops it to 17.38 loads. So does driving the loader down back and forth save enough money? Gravel roads are bad for accumulated dirt.

Hi Jan how’s the finger, I see it’s still taped up. On the AC compressor going, to fix that is more than just replacing the compressor and belt. You need to clean out the AC system, blowing fluid from the high side towards the compressor and probably replace other AC components. Need to pull a vacuum before recharging to verify there are no leaks. Had to do my tractor last winter after the same think happened to me,minus the belt frying. Thanks for another video

Next time put a couple on top of the cab! 😆 As far as the AC pump, I feel your pain having to buy some parts and it's especially painful when bought at the beginning of cold weather. I am trying to avoid a rotten gas issue cause I don't drive my car hardly at all. I made a route to drive for the 120 or so miles to burn almost all of it. It's within the city / nearer to civilization just in case I break down, which isn't likely but possible. The gas is about 4-5 months old. Next time I will buy just a gallon.

Was just the clutch locked up? They do do that. You can buy those clutches separately for those Sanden compressors. Otherwise, you have to buy the compressor kit, which includes the compressor, the o-rings, the expansion valve, and the receiver-drier. Oil, R-134, and the belt sold separately.

I had a Dodge dakota work truck that the back rims did that on as well. I never took it “ mudding “ and was it’s only operator. I used to keep a piece of flat bar under the drivers seat just to scape them clean. I am trying to guess how many bales you have handled so far this year I am thinking well over 1500? How many times have you stubbed your finger? LOL

Usually those a/c compressors seize not the clutch...just unplug the clutch energizing wire and it now becomes a idler and you can carry on until you can give er a complete fix.

Easy way to test this is turn the A/C off. If it still seize then it's time to replace.

Non-farmer here. Just curious, is there a reason why you keep the bails stacked? You would think that would save on space.
@chucklesx

Problem is rain runs off of the upper bales on to the lower ones and they freeze together and especially with net wrap they burst and fall apart when you go to move them
@joymad5820
@joymad5820 7 месяцев назад
By not leaving them stacked the bales are able to shed water and snow melt. Plus the air flow and can get to that inside portion to keep it dryer. This keeps the bale from molding.
