It’s the week of our court case, Daniel gets robbed again, he tries to over complicate to simplify while other companies try to steel our work and there’s profiling going on in the new yard, but Daniel stops some of the work as its about time someone or something gets weighed in.

Anything Range Rover is stolen because they are liked by youth chavs and criminals and seen as high value items. He could have parked his rolls Royce there and probably nothing would have happened to it

It bothers me the lengths some people will go to in order to steal work from another company. Worse still is the underhanded way some of the worse companies will go to, getting you to price a job just so they know where to undercut your prices. The saying for any industry of "you're only as good as your last job," should be at the forefront of every job you do. And word gets around, so much so that relationships are paramount, not just in business but in everyday life. It would seem that you are well respected in your business, and justifiably, given the amount of [often] your own personal time. Or, in other words, keep up the good work, Daniel, it's paying off!

The lights for the new yard, I suggest running a PIR sensor circuit and using contractors to switch the lighting, a cheap and simple solutions so you can achieved your requirements

Daniel, maybe someone has put a tracker on your Car and every time they see you have posted a new video with a new tire cover on the back of your car, they follow you and wait for you to park up and go somewhere and then they steal it. Let a car specialist check around your car properly, they might find a magnetic tracking device.

There are so many options for your lighting control, Wago's plc system comes to mind, Siemens logo! Schneider PLC, Shelly Pro.. dozens of options.. heck you've got control 4 installers.

Just came across your site. Fascinating. Surprised your not using bottom dump into pits for the bulk materials. But I suppose it's about volumes and yard locations for the materials. When sorting storage, you should have a red tag system in place. Mark everything with a red tag. If its used, the tag is removed. 3 months later. anything that still has a red tag, get rid.

Honestly loving the unique style of content you’re producing. Grand designs level of animation and graphics but with the quirks of leaving the camera rolling when mistakes and slips happen. Love it, avid watcher all the way from episode 1!!!

Here again, happy Sunday! you need a dali system for the lights look at something like cp electronics. It will allow you to set up zones and control what the lights do in that zone via a computer program, think smart home but industrial.

Hi Daniel and team fantastic work with new yard and all the videos yous do. I've been watching for a while and currently going back through the old videos. I have noticed a few things that I would like to suggest things to improve your operations. On the concrete trucks I notice a lot of time is lost by the trucks returning to the yard to be refilled I would suggest maybe having a rear auger discharge system that could be fitted to your tippers that the concrete trucks could stay on site and have the tippers running the material to refill the concrete trucks.

Lighting in the yard you could do a control panel in each section to the area there controlling and have it on a plc system and connect it to ya network 👌🏼👍🏼

You can only opt to have the hearing moved to your "local" court if you are a private individual. You should probably stick something in your contracts about venue for litigation also - i.e. they agree that any hearings for courts etc. have to be conducted within the greater london area.

For your light system, try reaching out to your nearest airport. We have a system similar to what you are wanting that covers the entire airfield but split into zones. We have a mix or lights on automatic, controlled by the tower and controlled from the pan with switch boxes that people cna manually turn on and off.

Dan, your Honda compressor issue will most probably be the oil alert in the sump, it can be bridged out but you must check the oil level regularly

Keep going Daniel and don't give haters lip service, it strokes their ego, just point your clients (internationally included) to an episode where you explain how they've tried to undercut you. Best to get all the work done with the dropper carriages now as inflation will always creep upwards. It's very corrupt times we are in so be careful. 👍👍

Daniel use a lightwave system. Use relays to operate the lighting contactors. Battery powered light switches. And then timers on the app.

Daniel, You need to walk around the yard and have a look at what kit is essential to your daily operation. Then look at what items fail and then buy some spares to hold on site: spare fuel pump, air compressor etc. These are really low cost items which have a big impact on the business, RESILIENCE is the key word. Keep up the great work, your are a real inspiration to many people.

With yard lighting ehy not use a lux sensor system with a time clock and have a front end control panel that allows overrides , this can also be tied in to fire , building , safety alarms and also cctv

For the yard lights why not adopt me motorway lighting method. A control panel with contactors/relays controlled by one photocell, plus local and remote override. You could even use a PLC or BMS controller which can have time and day omission options, and program in out of hours security operation of reduced light levels. You would also have the option to control the lights from home, or even St Lucia, and maybe even have the CCTV control them. If you have 100% LED you can save electricity and have reduced load on the controls, so no hefty contactors like the ones I used to have to maintain on highway lighting.

There are some scum bags around. Nicking a wheel cover is ridiculous. It may be better to leave the new one off when you replace it AGAIN and fit it once it was sold, and just make aware to whoever buys it that you have it but have not fitted it in case of being stolen again.

Why are you not using a plunge cut saw + vacuum for the insulation? Speeds the whole process up 10x and minimises wastage. Makita 40v plunge saw + 40v cordless vacuum is highly suggested
