What an investment of money you had to put in to have an amazing classroom. I wish educators had a larger budget so kids will be eager to learn. On the positive side it is an investment that you can use every year with just a few fill ins!

That's great that your district lets you have a refrigerator. I have mostly had to hide mine because they weren't allowed. I reckon that makes up for no closet. :) I, too, am a teacher's desk person. I understand why some teachers don't want them, but I want my own space with things that students don't have access to. I'd take a skinny black marker and write in a 'd' in cardstock so your parents know you noticed the mistake. They shouldn't care if it's not a perfect sign.

Can I just say thank you for cleaning, when I was first setting up my room I cleaned everything and I also brought in a swiffer to mop the floor with. Also love your set up so far. I have a lot of containers in my room. So much better than boxes and able to store more easily. One thing that I did on my white board is I sectioned it off with boarders.

You should label your mailbox with numbers instead of names so you don’t have to relabel them every year. Each kid gets a number alphabetically and that’s their number for the school year. Helps with learning and recognizing numbers, counting, and organization(for both you and them)!

Whoo! Your room is looking great! As far as the colors go, I’m sure you decided already I would do the colors that are all lowercase. It’s a pet peeve of mine that al these displays have capital first letters but we ask the kids to write them in lowercase 🤷🏼‍♀️ just a personal preference! But the crayon format is really cute!

Maybe on your welcome board you could paint over your staples with a white chalk marker or white out even just to make them a little less noticeable. Love your videos :)

You should look into Teacher Tape, we buy them in rolls and it doesn't pull paint off the wall and are semi reusable sometimes. 😊

I think parents would be far less cranky about buying supplies if they saw a)how much you buy yourselves and b)how much effort goes into just prepping for the year! My mum did post secondary teaching but she didn’t have a set classroom.

My experience with typos is maybe one person will notice and if they do they understand we are humans. It it bothers you print what you want on white paper (just the cardstock line) cut it out and attach it to the sign you have.

Hi! I'm not sure if you answer this in another video. But the grey pull out drawers next to your tables, what do you usually put inside of those? My classroom has similar tables and I've been trying to figure out ways for my kids to easily access their own materials.

If you cut aluminum foil with your paper cutter it will sharpen it.

Your classroom is gorgeous! You are doing such a great job of organizing it! Seeing your library reminded me of some info that I had meant to share with you when I watched your first classroom video (oops lol). If you ever find yourself needing more books- I’m not sure if they have stores in your area, but you should check out Half Price Books. They sell new and gently used books for cheap prices. They also offer a 10 to 15 percent discount for teachers. I would also recommend looking into Barnes and Noble, as they also offer a teacher discount. If you need to replenish supplies for your classroom- I also noticed that you like to use supplies from Target and craft stores. Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and Joann’s all offer teacher discounts. Target doesn’t have a discount year round, but they usually have anywhere between a week to a month prior to the start of school where they offer teachers a discount. I hope this helps! :)
